We stayed at this hotel on Day 19 of our Santiago Compostela pilgrim walk. The hotel is situated right opposite the Pont Napolen iconic bridge which also looks great at night. Try to get a room overlooking the water and bridge. We were warmly welcomed by the owner who spoke excellent English and although not assisted with our luggage up...

Privately owned establishments often provide kind, warm and personal service. Gaby at his hotel does all of this. He helped me find a barber on a Monday, and cooked us a special and filling meal when his restau was closed but we were very hungry. The terrace with only 3 or 4 tables overlooking the Tarn is a joy. On...

We came on out way to Tayac and returned on our way home. What wonderful hosts and accommodations. Gaby and his family were in the midst of renovations but could not have been more welcomed. Our rooms were very nice with views on the town and the river. The restaurant is excellent and we will return.

Arrived and found the door of the hotel locked. Rang the various doorbells and intercoms with no answer for several minutes. I had just pulled out my phone to call the number posted on the door when it opened. It seemed like we had disturbed the fellow working at reception. Check in was strange to say the least. No information...

We stayed here for 2 nights as a rest stop on the Chemin de St Jacques. The location was excellent, the room was clean and orderly, the restaurant was fantastic and we ate there both evenings. The owners were very attentive and hard working and the incredible thing was that we forgot our critical book with maps and bookings in...

Beside the river as you enter the town from the south with lovely views. Excellent rooms, spacious. Good value breakfast and parking beside the hotel. Lots of good restaurants in the centre of Moissac and the market on Saturday is well worth a visit.

A short walk from the station through the lovely town centre brings you to the edge of the river and a hotel with great views. The location is right on the river bank with easy access to all of the towns facilities and a big choice of great restaurants. Ideal location for cycling, friendly staff and the hotel has a...

We are coming to Moissac once a year, and have stayed in several hotels in the city, and the Pont Napoleon has the best "value for money" ratio, by far. Big, well appointed rooms. nice decor, great dining room (and good dinner). lots of parking space. staff is nice and helpful located next to Napoleon bridge (obviously), on the canal...

This is my second review but fifth or sixth stay at Hotel Napoleon. I have watched the transformation from the original hotel 10 years ago to its new modern renovation yet still keep its "Old France" ambience. While the decor and added pool are now completed (along with a stunning "sauna" for men under the building) the biggest change is...

“If troubled by traffic ask for an inside room. Be sure to have dinner and breakfast at the hotel - a great bargain and delicious. If you behave, Gaby and Patric are warm accommodating hosts - there is little they wont do to make you comfortable, but be reasonable. They work very hard to keep it all going and it is very easy to become part of the family”
