I stayed here during Christmas for the night as I was traveling through Morocco. From the moment I came into the Kasbah Mostafa has been welcoming. The energy in this place is amazing and it was wonderful to talk about life. The dinner was a welcoming change and wonderfully made by Mostafa's sister. Even though I was on my own...

A real gem located in the spectacular Dades Valley. The rooms are spacious, clean and carefully furnished with their own sitting rooms, balconies or terraces. The host, Mostapha and all of his sisters are beyond superb cooks. The dishes, from locally sourced ingredients, more than surpass that in any restaurant in Morocco. If you want wine with dinner remember to...

Eight of us, with 5 rooms, arrived later than planned, and Mostafa didn't miss a beat in making us feel welcome, seeing us and our luggage to our rooms, and letting us know dinner was ready whenever we were. This is a beautiful inn in every way. Visually beautiful, comfortable, wonderful food, and a gracious and kind host. We will...

It's hard to have more value-add given the praises in the reviews already provided, and I agree with all of them. I was very surprised by the quality of the dinner and breakfast, differentiated from the many tajine meals we've had on this trip. The view at night of the sky was amazingly beautiful. Property was nicely designed and maintained....

A traveler could not find a more gracious and accommodating owner. The food was excellent and demonstrated the cook had professional training and experience. The facility while relatively new construction invoked a feeling of a classic kasbah. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean and nicely decorated. If traveling during the cold season, bring sweat pants or long underwear to sleep...

I rarely give excellent! I am nit going to describe you a 5 star hotel! But this is a 5 star experience: Dades cold as hell, dark, several small riad or family hotels. We arrived after the owner has checked in the phone where we were and if we needed direction! We had the chance to choose the room! The...

Staying in this Riad is more than staying in an hotel or even in a regular Riad, it's a whole new experience. Moustafa makes sure you're not one more tourist, but a guest in his house. The place is so cozy and unique and the food is just amazing (although he chooses the menu for you). We just spent a...

The hotel is located in the Dades valley. Built by the owner through long years shows the attention to every detail. The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable and include heating for the winter months. The food is sublime and you will love the many courses at dinner as well as the home made bread for breakfast. Service level is...

This place is the highlight of my entire Morocco trip! HAVE TO go back again during spring time and stay much longer to fully enjoy and appreciate the starry nights, the out-of-this-world fully organic Michelin 100-star dinner and breakfast, scenic hikes as well as the company and philosophical conversation with the owner/guide/chef/host Mostapha! The room is spacious with a very...

Our only regret of a 16 day trip was only being here one night. The drive off the main road is fascinating and Mustafa was waiting for us to guide us into the parking area. This dar is a remarkable creation, beautifully and thoughtfully designed. We ate a very fine meal by a fire Mustafa built for us. The olive...
