Stunning views and good welcome from staff/owner. Rooms are big and comfortable enough but the style is rustic and quite basic so not what I would normally choose (booked by a travel agent). It’s good value for money and in a great location for local tourism and walking.

As always, the hospitality and friendliness of the owner and staff were second to none. This is the 5th time we have stayed at the hotel whilst en route from Spain to France. The bedrooms are cozy with wonderful views over the hotel gardens and the mountains. The 3 course menu del dia with wine at €16 is wonderful value and the breakfasts are really good. Incidentally our little Bichon Frise dog also thinks the hotel is great and is always pleased to arrive there. In our book this hotel takes some beating.

Main stop for 5 nights on our Spanish riding holiday, for the price your paying this is excellent value. Check in was easy, we had pre booked, all the keys were put on the counter and we all took one. The quality of the rooms is functional, kept clean and has all that you need. Dependent on which room depends on what you get, I had a fantastic view of the mountains over the top of the restaurant roof, king size bed and a functional bathroom, shower over the bath but plenty of hot water. shampoo and soap comes in sachet's which although they provide sufficient, dispensers would be preferable. Other people had rooms with not as good views but balcony's and some had rooms with kitchenettes and lounges. so it's definitely worth sorting what you want before you go. The staff are very helpful both at reception, bar and restaurants, although their English is not great but they really do try. Don't forget your "google translate" app. Breakfast, lots of choice and perfectly acceptable, however be on time to get the best eggs, they can be a bit cold if you are late. There could also be more fresh fruit. otherwise the breakfast has everything you would require. Bar food and restaurant food is very good, excellent choice and reasonable prices. We needed a safe location to house the bikes overnight, the hotel offered us their under croft where they hold events, bikes all safe and sound, locked up every night. Due to one of our group having an accident and being hospitalised, we needed people to talk to the hospital for us, the hotel staff were so helpful in every aspect of our needs. The outside pool is free, the Spa is €15 per person for an hour which I did find excessive. It is a distance out of town, about 2km which is certainly walkable or the taxi's are not that expensive if sharing cost. Personally I found the food in the hotel perfectly ok. Will definitely be going back again though, value for money, it's a great stay. Thanks to Rosa on reception for all the assistance

Used this place as a stop over, a bit too far out of the main town to be able to wander in. Reception was way more complicated than necessary and sadly in this day and age the receptionist had a very poor grasp of English. So onto the room with a view! This was actually a window that I needed to stand on tip toes to look out of and then all you could see was the roof of an adjacent building littered with broken tiles. The room itself was very basic and needed a clean, there were no tea/coffee facilities, the Tv had very limited service reduced even further by its lack of HD. Having previously asked at reception where the spa was and then again asking and being shown to the spa and then checking in at the spa, agreeing to purchase the swim caps at no stage were we told there would be a charge to use the spa, this is very unusual and deceitful. The Spa itself is very small, the "Hot Tub" was cold, showers inoperable and not worth the charge that was sprung upon us as we checked out. Our evening meal was strange, I would recommend reading and re-reading the menu, we were not offered drinks at all and should have taken a trip up to the wall city instead. Breakfast was ok but the coffee was cold and the danish pastries were covered in flies, yuk. Sadly I wish I had read other reviews and taken heed of their contents before agreeing to stay hear. My remonstrations fell on deaf ears and could have been easily dealt with. As the title says "You have been warned.

Disappointing all the way Booked 3 nights in superior room left on day two - beds are very uncomfortable- hard matres on wooden board - very noisy : you hear every noise neighbours make - both air conditioning and spa bath in room (why we booked superior room) were broke! Complained, were toled maintenance was not present. No apology, no solution,no compensation offered - breakfast simple, but only white breadslises that where very dry and only edible roasted - room very dark - balcony great view, but no privacy neighbour can see into room
