When I did my booking Alefredo told me we could cook then he told me it was not possible !! I had to throw all my food !! When I asked if exceptionaly heat the chiken for me he told me it was to much work !! Could you imagine !? No possible to wash his clothes (to much water as he saids) no advice surrounding Vallehermoso, no pleasant chating to konw if you are well or need something... Really no value add !! the apartment is clean. Nothing to do in the village. I recomend to prefer Valley Gran Rey. It will not stay in my traveler's memories ...

We had 3 nights in Vallehermoso and were very lucky to find this cosy little place. Casa Amaya is located right in the centre of the small town and has a great balcony, from which you have a great view over the main square and the Roque cano. The rooms are small but still very cosy and stylishly decorated. There are at least two bathrooms, which were always very clean. The kitchen doesn't have a cooker, but there's a coffee machine, a water boiler, toaster and egg boiler, everything you need for a proper breakfast. The most special thing about the place is its garden. Host Alfredo loves showing guests around and telling them everything about his fruits, vegetables, herbs and flowers. You can also use them for your meals or just hang around right in between all the beautiful plants and enjoy the sun and all the different smells. We loved it!!

I had a great 5 nights in this guest house, 2 nights in a single room and 3 in a twin room. Very clean and comfortable rooms with shared bathrooms. The place is run by Alfredo who is multilingual , german english and spanish. He goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. A shared kitchen is clean and well stocked with tea etc. The accomodation also has its own organic garden for relaxing and you can use some of the veg that is available for salads etc. I can highly recommend this accomodation, a real home from home.
