This place became home for our team for nearly two weeks. We were here to do medical work in the rural areas and were very happy with our accomodations. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. We got to know them very well as the time went on and they were always ready to help and teach us Khmer... More

We spent there only one night and that was definitely one night too long! The hotel seems from the outside okay, there is "security" on the entrance and the building looks nice. Also the rooms seemed by the first view simple and old but clean, but they weren't: Lizards in the room, yellowed bedlinen and towels, a lot of dust,... More

stayed for one night, in a party of 12. We were lucky, our air conditioned worked in a fashion. Most of the group had broken AC, or had to move room due to cockroaches. No toilet paper. Breakfast basic, and they tried to charge three dollars for a glass of orange juice. One to avoid unless you have no choice.

not a great place to stay, most of our group found they didn't even have toilet rolls! Most air con didn't work, lizards in the rooms and the breakfast was appalling, $3 for a glass of orange, breakfast was a piece of bread.

We stayed for one night. The hotel certainly has seen its best days, though it is clean, the A/C works and their Wi-Fi was exceptionally fast for Cambodia. The beds are hard like in most places in Cambodia, the showers worked for us, a little improvised. Not too bad overall, it is only $20 per night. The location right in... More

A tour company unfortunately put us here and it is pretty run down. I think the owners have stopped caring. In the bathroom you have two shower heads, one which supplies cold water, and the other supplies water that is too hot. I would have tried to work out some way to hold these together to get a decent temperature,... More

We first checked the Arunras Hotel, but when I asked for a 'quiet' room, the receptionist warned me about the karaoke bar on the top floor. So on we went to this hotel. This hotel is set back 'slightly' away from the main road. Reception staff were friendly enough. It's a 2-star place (in my eyes), so if you don't... More

Getting off the bus at Kompong Thom we crossed the road to the Arunras Hotel, but when we enquired about a quiet room, the receptionist indicated that we ought to look elsewhere. So we arrived at the Royal Garden Hotel not expecting too much, as it looks a bit run down. However, we were given a choice of rooms on... More

We stayed one night in this hotel. I agree it's not in a big touristic area, it's Cambodian country. But, the prices are a bit too high for the quality of the hotel (we paid 20 dollars for the room and compared to other places in Cambodia, it's expensive). The hotel is quite old and would require a big renovation.... More

Stayed over in Kampong Thom in order to go to Phnom Santuk and Sambor Prei Kuk. Definitely worth doing even if the bus ticket from Phnom Penh to Kampong Thom is almost the same as from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. The rooms are quite large, nice firm matresses. My room faced the river and was quiet and peaceful, ideal... More
