My 3-day stay at Khmer Homestay had been very comfortable and educational. I will focus on the amenities and the staff at Khmer Homestay. Khmer Homestay is strategically located in Baray, midway between Siem Reap and Phnom Penh along National Highway 6. It is a very convenient and wonderful pit-stop for tourists who prefer or seek a less-trodden itinerary to...

This is not your average tourist place. 'Aunty' Esther has helped create a whole community to support the Baray people of Cambodia. Great for school trips but also worth checking out the fabulous traditional stilt cabins. Baray is a beautiful place, pastoral and peaceful. See the local markets, book a bullock or pony cart ride. (Group numbers may limit this)....

It was a wonderful experience staying among the locals and interacting with the Baray youths who were staying the hostel near us. The facilities were very good and it was an authentic village experience. My team and I felt very much at home here! The mission of this Homestay is also as warm and heartening as the hospitality here, as...

Its my second time but I am still very satisfied with the service here. Would definitely come back here again in the future. Good job Khmer...

Went there with a group of my friends under an inter-cultural programme and was met with great hospitality from the hosts of the place. The translators (David and Mark) from the homestay ministry were a great help and they served with such passion! The food from solar cafe reminded us of home very much and everything was delicious. Overall, would...

Khmer Homestay is an unexpected jewel between Siem Reap and Phnom Penh making it an ideal stop over for travelers. You may think there is nothing to do in this area, however Khmer Homestay operators can arrange various service opportunities that help local communities in need and allow visitors to experience Cambodia like they never have before. Expect clean and...
