The room was enormous, well decorated and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the inclusive breakfast was very good. The breakfast included scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages, although you could ask for an omelette, as well as the usual array of cold meats, cheese, rolls or cereals. The hotel has a plush feel to it, everywhere looks...

We stayed here 3 nights as part of a coach trip. We knew we were about 30 minutes from Amsterdam but we didn't mind. This was a very comfortable hotel to stay in. Breakfast was very good, more than enough to eat. The staff were friendly, especially the bar staff who were chatty and were happy to recommend places to...

My stay at this hotel was lovely. Having stayed at more than one hotel in Amstelveen, I strongly believe this one is good value for money. My experience summarised as follows: Cons - Quite a remote location. Easier to get to if one is driving. But easily mitigated by the easy public transport access right outside the hotel. Pros -...

It's a very clean hotel that looks like it has been recently renovated within the last few years. We stayed here in order to visit amsterdam which is about 40 minutes from here. It's about a 10 minute walk to the metro from the hotel and then a 30 minute ride on the metro to central station, the heart of...

Spent almost a week here. Close to the bus stop, nice clean and updated rooms. A few restaurants nearby and one at the hotel. Nice gym area. Convenient for HP travelers. Good continental breakfast and the staff is very pleasant and helpful.

We chose The Grand Hotel Amstelveen as our "airport hotel" for the night before flying home. (It is about a 15 minute drive from Schipol). We found it to be much better than your average, high traffic, business-type airport hotel. We had a large, very clean, well furnished modern, comfortable room - one we could have stayed in for more...

Located at about 20 kilometers from Amsterdam, more or less, friends suggested this hotel as it was close to their home. I would have to say that it not a bad choice if someone wants to be close to the city without actually having to stay there. Affordable choice, though I believe that it does need that little something in...

Very nice breakfast, very good staff. Quality of location depends on your needs- 1 KM from a metro station that takes you straight to Amsterdam (about 35 mins ride) so great if you're with a car (also- free parking!). If you're just arriving to be in Amsterdam all the time, perhaps you should use a hotel inside the city.

Our room was large and clean, we were at the back of the hotel so very quiet. The hairdryer in the room did not work.Reception on arrival was good helpful and friendly sadly the lady on reception in the morning probably needs a bit more training to learn how to respond to guests , I asked about where a certain...
