The room was large and comfortable. Dinner with tajima beef and crab was fantastic. The breakfast was also top quality. Dinner and breakfast were served in the room. The staff spoke almost no English, we speak no Japanese, but we managed to communicate a lot. The floor staff was incredibly helpful. We got a free pass for all seven public... More

Kinosaki onsen is a lovely onsen town. I highly recommend staying one or two nights to enjoy the town, the great food, its people and, specially, its bath houses. I stayed at Higashiyamaso Hotel for one night. The room was very big, comfortable, clean and nice. Kinosaki onsen is a small town so the location is not an issue since... More

This ryokan is at one end of the main street, hence it is very near the train stop. You can walk to (back) from the train station in less than 10 minutes. It is nary a 2 min walk to the nearest onsen, and the same to a family mart. The room has a homely feel, especially more so with... More

Kinosaki is charming. Even more so during the Cherry blossom season! This onsen was wonderful. Great service, wonderful food, and the staff are very sweet. The only problem was almost zero English spoken by anyone working there. Luckily my travel partner spoke some Japanese. Conveniently located. Love the traditional Japanese rooms. The bed mattresses were very comfortable and I slept... More

We took a direct Zentan bus from Osaka to Kinosaki onsen village ( 3.5hrs journey) for cherry blossom and stayed 3 nights at this ryokan with family and friends. We had our breakfast and dinner in another room beside us which was catered for our group of 6 adults + 1 baby and all of us really enjoyed the food... More

I visited Kinosaki Onsen twice and I stayed at this hotel both times. It is just a brief trot across the main part of town and over the main canal. They were very welcoming despite me being the only non-Japanese there. I was there on my own the first time in 2010 and visited with my mother and sister the... More
