Stayed 2 nights at Hotel Vischio Amagasaki in May 2019. We chose it because it is right across the street from the JR line. Hotel is older, but in nice shape. Some amenities are in the room, others need to be picked up in the lobby. We used the luggage storage because we arrived before check-in time. Room was a decent size, clean and quiet. You have to put your keycard in a slot by the door to have the lights go on (and you only get 1 keycard, so the lights go off when your roommate leaves). There is also a small guest lounge (with keycard entry) where you can use computers and make tea (besides the general sitting area in the lobby). Hotel has exits on the first and second floor (we used the second floor to go to the the JR line, first floor to go to local shops). There are plenty of shops in the area (there is an indoor mall on the next block). We ate the breakfast buffet and it had a nice selection of food/drinks. I would return to this hotel in the future.…
Stayed here with a group. There were other groups also staying here at the same time. The service in the restaurant was very average - the food was running out quickly and taking ages to refill, (up to an hour for the cereal to be refilled), minimal wait staff to clear the tables, minimal selection for food. The rooms were decent size but no rooms provided any tea or coffee - just a kettle. Bathroom supplies were also minimal. Rooms are on the older style.
The hotel is located just outside the JR Amagasaki station and with an easy access to the Airport shuttle. Rooms are well proportioned and comfortable. WIFI in every room, frequent dropouts. Tea, coffee, sugar..etc supplies need to be picked up near the Reception ... but always plentiful and available. Pleasant hotel and if ever going back to Japan will stay there again.
Hotel has convenient location right next to Amagasaki JR station. There are 2 shopping malls right next to hotel, so its easy to do any kind of shopping or to get any food you want to. Rooms were surprisingly spacious and for very nice price. + Wifi handles on line streams + Location + Price/value ratio very high I´m trying to find some disadvantages, but I can´t find any.... I would just recommend this hotel
The hotel has a 4 star rating yet I feel fully satisfied with what I experienced during the 3 day stay while attending a conference at their 2nd floor hall. The staff are very accommodating though not fully conversant in English. You can relax in their guest lounge offering free coffee or tea and a snack of chocolate crispies. Also it’s a plus that there’s a mall beside the hotel where you can go and shop.
What i want most in this hotel is the location. The hotel is just located outside the JR Amagasaki station. After the station's exit, the hotel can be be reached by mere walking in just about 5 minutes. Moreover, bus stops for buses serving the amagzaki area is just located accross the hotel. Moreover, shopping malls are just few steps away from the hotel. Transportation direct to kansai airport is easily accesible.
Though located outside the City Central, this hotel is suitable for business trip and those not accompanied with small children. The Hotel is right opposite to the JR Amagasaki Station with a good number of small restaurants within the immediate vicinity and the Qmall next door. The JR will convey you to City Central within 15 minutes ride. The room is relatively small but adequate for business travellers and travellers, clean and tidy plus adequate supply of one’s daily need. The environment is quiet and peaceful, thus provided the occupants a good relaxed night. Buffet type breakfast is provided on the 2nd floor cafe and the variety of choices should be sufficient for all walks of life. Overall I enjoy my stay.
The rooms were clean and had everything I needed. The hotel is right next to the jr station so it is easy to get to central Osaka, Nara and Kyoto. The breakfast was average with a few variations of bread and other foods.
Stayed here on a business trip 3 nights. Hotel room and breakfast was good. Good service level. Nice and clean. But the bed and pillow was way to hard for me, so the quality sleep was not so good for a European. Hotel is very close to train and metro station and shopping center so the location in Amagasaki is very good.
Service staff may be inexperienced but they are basically cheerful and warm Breakfast restaurant is spacious and providing various kinds of foods from Japanese to western and Chinese. The set price of breakfast was 1300 yen. It was good price.
