Stayed 1 night at Miyako Hotel in May 2019. Had a late arriving flight and came from Itamai airport (short taxi ride, but expensive). Hotel is in a business area, and it was quiet. Unfortunately all the restaurants were closed when we arrived. This property is older, but in decent shape. Economy twin room was clean and serviceable. Room amenities were nice. You have to put your key on a ledge by the door when you enter to have the lights stay on (and you only get one key). Would have liked to try the breakfast buffet, but we needed to move onto the next city. Taxis line up outside of the hotel, which was very convenient. There didn't seem to be many tourist attractions near the hotel, but we did not have the time to search.
Miyako hotel is located several stations from Osaka/Umeda train station, so just to be clear, it's at suburb and quiet area. Although there is the non-stop Rapid Express service from Amagasaki station to Umeda station. The train station is 10 mins walking distance, or you could easily bypass the intersection roads through the crossing bridge outside the hotel which connects directly with the train station, The buffet breakfast is quite good with plenty varieties spread over the restaurant
My family stayed only for one night. The access to the hotel was 10 or so minutes from the nearest highway off-ramp . If you are taking the train, the trip to the hotel on foot from the station is very similar. Parking was directly underground, which cost 500 yen for one night. Considering that the hotel is within city limits and only a twenty-ish train ride to Umeda/Osaka Station, I would say it was quite cheap. The room was small as was expected. Luckily the double size bed could fit me, my wife, and my baby with some room to spare. The typical amenities were provided, plus an air purifier. There were some scuffs on the walls, but overall it was clean. The outside view from our room wasn't spectacular, but we didn't come for that. There's a lot of counter space and drawers to store clothes and other personal items. When it comes to dining, there are many options all within the hotel. My family enjoyed the all-you-can-eat crab dinner. Definitely go early or all the good parts will be gone. Our hotel plan also came with a morning breakfast at the same place. No surprises there but we had our fill and it was not that crowded. With all said, we enjoyed our stayed and would like to come again but for an extended time next time.…
room is really nice. minimalist and okay. I am pretty surprised with the toiletries that probably in Indonesia is quite expensive. highly recomended. the breakfast is also tasty. many variants. for you who are to Osaka is one of the hotels that I recomed
This place was the last hotel during my tour trip.. the place was lovely. They put washtafel outside the bathroom. They provide hair dryer too..Food also satisfying.. Thank you for the great experience 😁 I wish one day I’ll be there again..
The room was we furnished, the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. It was conveniently close to the subway, with a walkway all the way there. It's only 10-20 min by train to get into central Osaka. I enjoyed my stay.
Miyako Hotel New Archaic was only a 10 minute walk from Hanshin-Amagasaki station which is convenient for going to popular spots like Umeda or Namba in Osaka. There are also quite a few restaurants near the station. The hotel itself was quiet, clean and convenient stores like Lawson and Family Mart are just a few minutes' walk away.
Hotel room is acceptable, but breakfast is lousy. Food don't get refill on time. Location slightly out of way. 15 minutes walk to subway. Quite a distance from Dontobori area. Housekeeping is great. An hour ride by airport limousine bus to Kansai airport.
we stay in triple room, it's good and quite big room, sofa and toiletris available. good breakfast. clean hotel. but we can't find dust bin. a minimarket beside hotel, small shopping area in walking distance. nice area, quite calm.
The room was clean an spacious with very big beds. The toilet was clean and the facilities were in good order. Had a very restful slumber on the big, soft and comfortable bed. The buffet breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful.
