We booked this hotel after researching for dog-friendly hotel for our Osaka trip. This hotel is located in Amagasaki, Hyogo (not Osaka), though it is only a few stops away from Umeda, granted you’re familiar with public transportation in Japan. We booked it through Rakuten Travel for the “with dog” package, which was ¥9000 per person. It is the only dog-friendly hotel in the Osaka/Hyogo area within walking distance from a station. When we arrived the hotel, the receptionists as usual asked for our passports or zaiyu....which is not required for residents of Japan with a residential address in Japan, in case anyone doesn’t know. We didn’t want to waste any time, so we complied. They gave us a room on the highest floor (10th floor), at the very very end of the hall. It’s almost like we’re some kind of outcasts. Additionally, our dog rarely barks and is well-travelled. The room is decent-sized, but cramped with excessive furniture and an old playpen. The playpen is small and quite low, obviously not meant to hold any dogs that have real training issues/needs. Our pup has never been in a playpen before, yet he stayed in obediently every time we left the room despite having long legs and the ability to get out easily. The carpet was not thoroughly cleaned. We attempted to clean something up on the floor using puppy pads, and the puppy pads ended up to be black. The room was very outdated. The air conditioner control panel on the wall seemed to be connected to central heating/cooling system, temperature didn’t seem to be adjustable. I needed the room to be cool in order to sleep, but all I could get was warm air. The TV requires a prepaid payment (assuming purchased at the front desk), however, it continues to freeze every time I try to find a channel and was unable to turn the power off for the entire night. Even the light switches were not installed correctly. Considering we paid ¥18000 for the room, we expected a little more from it. Breakfast was surprisingly good though.…

We book this hotel through lastminute. The hotel is close to amagaski station but atleast a 10 minute ride from osaka station. Thw back side of the hotel is a red light distrcit but they dont bother couples. The site from where we booked said it was an economy double room but wheb we reached the hotel it was a semi double which was the size of a queen single bed. It was tiny so and the room had hardly any space but we had to request for an upgrade which cost us 3000¥ per night on top whixh really bothered us but we were in no position to argue. The twin room we got was very nice however with space to move around. I would have preferred to live around the main osaka station than here.

Booked two twin rooms for 4 nights at a very reasonable price. Breakfast was included and very delicious, although the menu doesn't change much so if you're staying here expect a lot of repetition on meal time. Located near a train station and a convenience store.

Very good value, for a functional efficient room. Stayed in the new wing. Simple but good Japanese breakfast. Lots of good restaurants (and pachinko parlours) in the Neighbourhood. The train stop is just 5 minutes away. Direct bus to Kansai airport also conveniently located at the train station, leaves every half hour. Discovered some historical temples and architecturally old buildings when strolling around, just about five blocks away.

Our family group of 8 was looking for an affordable hotel near Osaka and this hotel delivered. For the hotel room price that we paid through Expedia, which included breakfast and free wifi, the 8 to 10 minutes train commute to Osaka Station is well worth it. The easiest way to get to this hotel from KIX (Osaka Airport) is to take the bus direct to Hanshin Amagasaki, which is a few blocks away from this hotel. The bus ticket costs 1550 Yen. The room was small (similar to all the hotel rooms we stayed at in Tokyo) but clean. The breakfast was plentiful and yummy. There is freecoffee and tea in the lobby. We will definitely stay at this hotel again if we plan to visit Osaka in the future.

We booked 2 rooms for 3 nights in this hotel and it was surprisingly worth the price. The location to the amagasaki train station and bus station is just a walk away. It is a clean hotel and the free breakfast was appetising. They have a microwave at the lobby where you can warm your take away food. We stayed here because it was accessible to Nara, Kobe and Himegi. They also have a coin laundry which is affordable.

We stayed in this hotel because we bought with the travel package. The hotel is very small but amenities are sufficient. Hotel is not situated in the city center, you need to take JR or metro where it is only 8 mins walk from the hotel. You can still find a lot of restaurants and supermarket near the hotel.

This hotel is perfect for a budget trip. Hotel rooms are a bit small! The breakfast is Japanese and if you enjoy Japanese breakfast go for it! Coffee is served in the conference hall , not inside the breakfast hall. Likewise near train station.. Mcdonalds is just a few steps away from train station.

We arrived here a little after midnight and the staff still accommodated us, which is very welcome. It took us an hour to get to here via the KIX JR Rapid Express train up to Nishikujo station, then transferring to the Hanshin Line to Amagasaki Hanshin station for only 190 Yen. The hotel itself is practically a 2-minute walk from the station, with a lot of food places nearby. We were, however, unaware that the street where the hotel was is right where there were a lot of host clubs and such. It didn't really bother our stay, but you'll have to go through that to get to the nearby 7-11, which was a bit uncomfortable for us. At night there's usually an English-speaking staff person at reception, but we don't see him at in the morning. Regardless, the staff in the hotel try their best to converse in English, so we were never really lost in translation. Rooms may seem small to Westerners, but for us, two Asian women, the room was just right. The room by itself is really comfortable with nice ambiance, with TV, a table with a chair, a thermos, a fridge and an alarm. We never really got bothered by any sounds coming from other rooms (or maybe that's because we just have quiet neighbors). The bathroom has a tub, an automated toilet, a hair dryer, etc.Water from the bathroom sink was apparently potable, according to the sign. There's a vending machine at our floor for drinks and beer. Breakfast (6-9am) that came with our stay was really, really good. Breakfast is served buffet-style and was usually made up of salad (greens and a macaroni/spaghetti salad), tamagoyaki, natto, bread, pickles, grilled fish (salmon and some other fish), curry soup, warm rice, raw egg to put in the warm rice, porridge and miso soup. Drinks are either water, fresh orange juice or tea. Everything in the breakfast menu is really, really good and really filling. The staff is also very accommodating and warm to guests.
