I was made to feel very welcome on arrival. A great room with lots of nice touches. A comfortable bed, fresh linen and an excellent shower. No problems with internet connection. The location is ideal for the tram and getting around the area. I would highly recommend Brooklands if you want to stay in Manchester.

This is a little gem! I work in Manchester regularly and always stay here. Angela and Steve are very welcoming and you soon feel part of their home. The added bonus of being able to help yourself to your breakfast in your own room at a time that suits you in a major bonus for me as I usually have...

A long overdue review after our visit last Autumn. As before we really enjoyed our stay. Angela and Steve are very gracious hosts and we now consider them old friends. Our usual room was clean and comfortable and Steve's breakfasts are brilliant. What else could we ask for? See you later this year!

Leaving after 22 months of staying with Steve, Angela, April and Elliott. What a fabulous family they are! Always welcoming, always entertaining and I'm going to miss them terribly. Would completely recommend Brooklands Lodge and everything that goes with a long (or short) stay with them

22 months, wow!! Where did the time go?! It was our pleasure and your "Manchester Family" will miss your smiley face and happy chatter. Hope we see you again, rest assured the "fatted calf" will be wheeled out for the return of the "prodigal daughter"!!

Initially I was gonna give 5 stars to this place but there are 2 problems. Internet connection is really bad and the room is a bit cold. I even tried to set the radiators on max but still cold specially when you get up in the morning. The hosts are really friendly and helpful though. Very clean and modern room.

Steve and Angela have Brooklands Lodge as their home - and while you are there they share it with you. Comfortable rooms with nice classy touches. Steve's exquisite breakfasts, sometimes with a surprise ingredient. Plenty of advice on where is best to eat nearby, down the canal towpath to Sale. Manchester United memorabilia is omni-present (Old Trafford is just down...

Rollo and Fudge, our two dachshunds , would like to thank you, Angela, April and Steve for the kind, warm and peaceful welcome you extended to them and their Mum and Dad. A truly wonderful family hotel. In a beautiful (and beautifully maintained/restored) building, everything about this place is top of the line. Hosts Steve and Angela Vernon go out of there way to welcome guests, a lovely warm and generous atmosphere. The rooms are modern and appointed to a high level, and so clean and sparkling. Steve's breakfast is totally top-knotch...

We spent a couple of nights at this excellent guest house. Our room was spacious and spotless, the bed comfortable and the welcome warm. There is a small fridge in the room and a plentiful supply of breakfast items, or a range of cooked breakfasts is available if that's what you prefer. It's just a couple of minutes from the...
