I couldn’t get over how gorgeous the space was. Felt like home. Good value for the price. Private location but still close to town/beach. Huge tv with netflix, free wifi, free parking, easy check in and communication with staff. I only wish I could’ve stayed longer.

Had a lovely 3 nights at The Lake At Blue Mountains. Our room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. There were BBQ's for guests use as well. Only a 5 minute drive from downtown collingwood and less then 5 Minutes to Blue Mountain Village. The beach was only a 2 minute walk away. (Just remember when you go to the beach that the small beach area down the lane way is accessible for hotel guests. The houses on the bay own the beach front property). I would happily stay here again.

Stayed in the smaller unit that says it sleeps four but is really perfect for a couple. Unit was well equipped with everything we needed, and anything that we didn't have we got easily via the virtual host. The owners are updating many of the units. They're clean, modern and well maintained. Loved the keyless entry. Although the beach is a couple minutes walk behind, there is access to a beach and we had no issues when we were there and went to the beach a couple times. Being there to golf, this place was great as courses were all within a short drive. Plenty of restaurants also within a few minutes drive but with everything we needed in the kitchen and a bbq right outside our door, we ate most meals right there. About the only thing I would add for guests would be a few shelves in the bathroom for personal items and perhaps a fold up luggage stand. Bed was more than comfortable and lots of pillows. Towels were soft. Water was hot (when needed). Room was comfortable, clean and modern. We would definitely go back for another golf trip.

Sorry to tell you. This place has no legal beach access. The police came to tell us when there. Some by law makes it illegal for hotel guests to be there. Also the rooms completely sucked. It wasn’t very clean and it was super loud.

OVER-PRICED and quirky-aggravating pricing. The room cost 40% more through their own reservation desk 4 months ago than through Orbitz a month ago. DIFFICULT PARKING. The only night parking was 1/4 mile away - on the other side of 2 hotels and 2 big parking lots. Parking in the underground garage of our building was only during the day! We were warned we'd be towed if we parked there from 10pm to 6am. VERY NOISY. Our room was one of what I estimate must be about 75 or 100 rooms facing "the square" where a different live band played each night, amplified full tilt until 2am. Left me aggravated until 3am. Then kids start running the halls at 7am. Floors are wood, not concrete, so you hear the people above you like in a flea-bag hotel. Free Wi-Fi was useless, and a $10 /day up-charge for good Wi Fi. For $280/nite room? The chair and sofa fabrics were some industrial-strength material suitable for wrapping gigantic transformers for transport. Likewise, the carpet was suitable for a 747 landing strip. Phony leather. Bad reading lights. Very phony fireplaces set in very phony bad-imitation stone surrounded by ceramic tile flooring with a finish that was a very bad imitation of stone. Hardscape overwhelmed. View marred by 30 foot long bright orange fences featuring ads of Clif bars? Trash cans in middle of lawns. Yuk! Room staff never provided shampoo, conditioner AND hand lotion. Each day we got 2 out of 3. 4 free cups of ok coffee/day. Good mattress.
