I love Hakuwa and their buffet. Went there on my birthday, graduation and a friends farewell dinner. The foods excellent despite the changes made in recent years. I love how they change their buffet menu just to give customers a different taste, texture and flavour during different seasons. The sashimi isnt seasonal and provided in all seasons. The buffet is reasonable. 1500 yen for all you can eat and drink in 90 mins but they dont monitor time so strictly so feel free to finish at your own pace. The service is A-class and the waitresses are very polite. The salad range is pretty wide. Everything's very presentable and very hygienic. Also, went there for afternoon tea. Expensive but nice. Suggestion.....you have to go!!!!
The hotel itself is clean and well-kept, and just outside the campus' north gate. Although I didn't eat a substantial meal in their restaurant, they serve a nice breakfast, and the quality and variety of the food served at the conference banquet (which was held there) was probably the best I have ever had at a conference banquet.
