Thank you Mel, Lara, Vanja and Vasco we loved every minute of our 3 night stay and couldn't have wished for a more perfect ending to our walking holiday in SW Portugal. The moment we walked through the door and were greeted with Lara's warm smile we knew we were going to feel at home; we weren't disappointed. Without exception...

We had a truly wonderful stay at this relaxed and beautifully designed hotel. The staff were super kind and friendly, especially to our 7 year old son. If you don't mind the slightly irrational weather on this coast, and love the surf, ten this place is a wonderful retreat. Highly recommend!

Absolutely top class accommodation in fabulous setting. Very close to fabulous unspoilt beaches with great walks. Good mixture of restaurants around. Tennis courts, massage and yoga weekend here as well. Hotel also has some wonderful villas to rent in other areas of algarve.

Casa Fajara is lovely - friendly, helpful staff; very individual, stylish and comfortable rooms; delicious breakfasts; super views out onto fields and hills; cows with bells round their necks add to the ambiance. The swimming pool area has been quiet on the two occasions we have stayed at Casa Fajara and that's a delight too We'll be back in June...

We stayed for 3 nights as part of a walking trip, and had a great time. The facilities are good, the reception rooms cosy (log fires at night) and the staff attentive. We had dinner there each evening, and although it was a set menu, it was creative, well cooked and delicious. A brisk walk takes you to the beach,...

We stayed here two nights in September with our two kids. The staff are very friendly and the setting is very peaceful. Handy access to the village which is a short walk away for dinner. Slight issue with the room; the mezzanine not suitable for a toddler (access only via a stepladder) and so he ended up on a put...

Couldn't really improve on anything at casa Fajara! Loved our time here, staff were attentive and helpful, the house is full of character, pool was refreshing with an amazing back drop of the mountains. Great breakfast and lunch/dinner is also on offer. Also within walking distance of Carappatiera for more restaurants, bars and shops. Short drive to the two local...

This is a wonderful hotel, in such a beautiful place and with incredibly nice staff. I spent a week and couldn't have been happier - comfy rooms, every detail thought of, delicious food (particularly good breakfasts) and lots to do. You can walk, ride, surf, explore local restaurants. It's the best part of the Algarve, unspoilt by endless hotels and...
