Loved it here! Was a comfortable way to experience a new culture! Right in the middle of town and only a very short walk to Akakura Kanko and Onsen ski areas! Breakfast each morning always hit the spot and got the day of to a great start. The lounge was a great spot to sit back and relax to talk...

Akakura Akarien is traditional, affordable Japanese accommodation and our host Yumiko was the most incredible woman who made our trip. My partner and I decided on a couple of days snowboarding to compliment our Japanese holiday visiting the major cities. I was staying at this hotel 2013 March during ski season for couple of days. The hotel is just 10 mins walk from the nearest ski resort entrance.
