This hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the Kamisuwa train station. Friendly service with just enough English to get the basics. Good buffet breakfast and clean environment. The rooms are VERY small by Western standards. Literally just enough space for a bed and small table. Didn't measure, but entire room is maybe 7x10 feet. I'm 6 feet and...

If staying or caught near Lake Suwa, this hotel next to the station is an easy, affordable stay, with parking. A bath and rotemburo on the 1f is a plus, as was an excellent breakfast buffet. This location is not rife with dining options, so best to eat before checking in, or visit the neighborhood convenience store.

This is a "sub-motel" level establishment in a very sleepy small town. The standard room looks to be a 8'x10' space, with barely a bed, a chair, and a tiny desk. I'm 5' tall and I could barely fit. I ended up changing to a "double" room, which was more bearable. If you are staying there for a long period...
