We had an excellent time staying at Balmacara Hotel. It is right on the waterfront, perfect location. The people were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very pretty - we stayed in rooms 2 and 5 highly recommended. Overall, wonderful experience.
Nice hotel in beautiful area. Staff helpful working to the best of their ability. Food average not the ritz but not the pits. Lacks top notch cuisine but all edible. Possibly pre frozen food not fresh but freshly cooked.
Incredibly great B&B-- breakfast was fresh, home cooked, large portions, one heck of a view.
The bedroom was spacious, VERY comfortable bed, ajustable heating unit.
Well-lit bathroom, perfect shower pressure and adjustable temperature, high end toiletries, ample towels.
I wanted to stay forever.
We were treated really well, the room was clean and comfortable. Food was basic but done to a high standard. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely go back! It's really close to Eilean Donan which is great if your wanting to visit.
A one night stop here.
Room was ok. Are 12 inch portable tv's still in use elsewhere? Bathroom was an issue - loo took for ever to re fill the cistern and the light took 30 seconds to come on!
