Stayed here for a few days in July 2021. Hotel was recently refurbished & rooms are modern with touches of highland decor. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was modern and had excellent shower pressure and soaps & toiletries were supplied by hotel. Hairdryer was also supplied in room. Only downside was you couldn’t use the smart tv in room as wifi doesn’t meet the usage of the hotel traffic connecting to it. Would recommend the owner upgrades the system or switches to basic freeview channels so guests can access some form of tv in room. Breakfast was included in the price and had a good selection of hot & cold options & staff seemed pleased to ensure you had everything you needed. We had dinner in the hotel on our first night but found the menu a bit limited for mains. Would be good to have some more options. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Was in a good location to explore the nearby Eilean Donan Castle, Isle of Skye & local village of Plockton. Would recommend for people looking for a modern hotel to explore the surrounding areas.

Room Tip: Wifi was an issue so keep in mind if this is essential. Parking in car park 1 filled up quickly...

My partner and I were staying at the Reraig caravan site next door so I called a good week or two in advance to make a dinner reservation for the night we were staying there, as we arrived in the reception of the hotel no staff members acknowledged us and the guy sitting at reception sat staring at his phone. Eventually he looked up and we told him we had a reservation which he then proceeded to tell us that we did not and that they were too busy to take us as he only had one chef working that night - not our problem. He made no attempt to even try to accommodate us or apologise, especially when it is the only restaurant in the area and at 8pm on a Tuesday evening there’s not much options to go elsewhere!

Stayed here for 3 nights with friends while we explored Skye. Rooms were very comfortable, newly refurbished and despite the race to reopen post pandemic we had a great trouble free stay. Breakfast was delicious and piping hot. Well done to all staff. We will be back!

Disappointed to arrive at this hotel today to be told that our room was under going a refurb! After travelling 4 hours this isn’t what you want to hear. The hotel did arrange for us to stay else where but we ended up leaving as it was nothing like what we were expecting for our stay. Stressful start to our holidays with our 1 year old daughter. I think what was more disappointing for me was that I had called just a couple of days before our trip to ensure a cot could be put in the room which they agreed would be no problem, there was no word then that our whole room was in jeopardy at that point
