My extended family - British and American - and I stayed here on a Saturday evening. Lovely sea views in those rooms facing the sea. The breakfast was fairly extensive and pleasing to both sides of the pond. My mom and mum particularly enjoyed the lovely flowers/gardens of the hotel. And all the staff were really nice and friendly, and...

Eating area very pleasant and big and has nice breakfast. Room was very comfortable. Excellent location and nice view to the sea. Staff is friendly. The hotel has an original scottish decoration. It is about 15 minutes by car to picturesque Plockton.

We have been staying for a few days. Very good location nice clean rooms and good breakfast. A bit early though have to eat by 9 so not able to get up to late. Staff very polite and friendly. There's not much to do around the hotel/town so not for people who are looking for lively things. It suits us...

This is a very good hotel and restaurant. We had a room facing the loch which was quiet and dark (at night), just how we like it. A very functional bathroom with power shower and instant hot water. The restaurant was excellent and the chef made me a fruit salad for desert which was the very best I have had....

The dining room was lovely. We saw it for breakfast, on Tuesdays the family does not serve dinner. A bit of a problem, our choices were limited and it was tourist season. Took a while to find somewhere to eat. They did warn us. And in the future I will make dinner reservations anywhere and guess where I will be...

Stayed here one night as the base to explore Isle of Skye. It was at a quiet location off the main road. The staff at this charming little hotel made us feel welcome with cheerful attitude and great service even better then some five star hotels. We had two sea facing rooms on the second floor. It didn't come cheap...

This was our last stop on our Scottish journey through the highlands and it also turned out to be the perfect ending. As a three star family run small hotel it deserves nothing but five stars. The pomp and circumstance that you'd get in a bigger and finer hotel may not be there but that's more than compensated for by...

The location of the Tingle Creek is good, just 5 minute drive from the bridge to Skye. The room was average but clean, and the ventilation in the bathroom left much to be desired (!) but the restaurant served fantastic food, and Andrew was incredibly friendly, helpful, and the most chipper guy at 7:30am. His sunny disposition really made our...
