This small, quiet hotel was a truly unique step into history (with all the comforts). Each room is well decorated with an accompanying sitting area just outside the door (for those who get up early). Their kitchen prepared wonderful meals (served in the outside courtyard). Edwin recommended an excellent sparkling to accompany our meal (and nice conversation as well). The...

My husband and I were extremely disappointed with our stay here and cannot understand the positive reviews from other people. Our bedroom was very dated and musty smelling with mold in the shower and a very dirty floor with nuts and bits of rubbish on the floor under our bed. We could nit open our window and the room was...

The rooms are historic but comfortable. There are lots of charming places to relax and hang out around a lovely courtyard with a fountain. Our three rooms had their own sitting area. A free tour of the winery is included as are the contents of the minibar- now that's a first! The grounds are well kept up and the small...

This is a traditional hacienda-style hotel typical of places in the area. Having stayed at a few, in my opinion this is the best one. Rustic but homely and nice decor. Tv, wifi, dinner in the courtyard, pool and loads of extras (complimentary mini bar, vineyard tour, bike hire etc). The staff could not have been more helpful! We love...

This is a very old building that has not had its plumbing, internet or other essentials upgraded, it is clean and well run but expensive fo rthe quality of the food. the saving grace is the vineyard and restaurant near by but this is over priced.

We stayed for only one night but everything was perfect. We loved the complimentary bottle of Casa Silva wine to be had in front of a roaring fire before enjoying a fantastic dinner. Rooms are very comfortable and warmly decorated. We will definetely return to Casa Silva for another visit.

Casa Silva was a great find! A tastefully decorated boutique hotel located in a historic building, with only 7 rooms. Except the rooms, the court yard with a little fountain is worth mentioning - it is so charming I could stay there for weeks sipping my wine and listening to romantic music! There is also a secluded swimming pool where...

While Casa Silva is relatively young, having been established in 1997 by Mario Pablo Silva, the vineyard actually started in 1892, the dream of Emilio Bouchon, a Frenchman from St. Emilion (Bordeaux) who emigrated to Chile. The Silvas grow vines in five separate areas of Chile, four in Colchagua Valley, and the fifth in the Region Austral, in the Southern...

Had a lovely table overlooking the polo field and a very good lunch with a choice of a HUGE piece of beef or an equally large piece of salmon. Both were very good, and sprinkled with local sea salt. Our waiter, Jorge, made the lunch extra special. When I asked him specifics about the salt, he explained where it was...

this was by far our most favorite winery - both for the quality of the wines and the winery itself. it's obvious that the family that own it put their heart and soul into the place - from the beautiful restaurant overlooking the polo field, to the amazing stables of gorgeous horses and the sensational wines. oh! and coming upon...

Casa Silva's winery Boutique Hotel is one of the most refined and elegant destinations of Colchagua Valley. The charming family house beside the old winery at Angostura Estate, where four generations of the Silva family lived, is now the residence of their boutique hotel. The colonial-style home has been delicately decorated by Francisco Silva and is the ideal place to connect with the culture of wine, Chilean traditions and all the peacefulness of the Valley's countryside.
