I will start with my only criticism, is that its slightly difficult to find. The post code takes you about half a mile down the road. There is a sign at the side of the road, but this wasn't the easiest to see, especially at night. I arrived and check in was great, had a lovely chat with the lady...

Stayed here for one night before attending a wedding the following day. What a quaint beautiful family home, Carolyn was very warm and welcoming and also gave some tips for places to eat evening meal. The Old Hall is steeped in history and it was a welcome change from 'clean line glossy' hotels with no soul...loved all the nooks and...

This b and b is a family home and steeped in history . We received a warm welcome and had tea whilst our rooms were prepared. Nothing was too much trouble and allowing us to change for an early afternoon wedding much appreciated. Our rooms were comfortable quiet and fresh milk arrived for morning tea along with a newspaper. The...

Lovely little place. Really quirky. Rooms are clean and spacious, beds were really comfy. Beautiful breakfast and the owner is lovely. Also got a friendly sheep dog and our kids loved him. Only downside is that it's really hard to find its not sign posted very well.

If you like quirky, quaint, history etc then you are in for a treat. A great welcome into the medieval world with modern bathrooms. Genuine welcome for us and our American guests. Great breakfast too! Convenient for Kilworth Hall and Theatre where we were going. We drove past it twice too! The sign mentions the beauty business more prominently than...

I drove passed it twice - but i think that was my fault for not actually reading the instructions !! Very interesting place, not like anywhere I have ever stayed before. If I am in the area again I would go there again. Its like you are actually staying in someones house with them, although I guess you are really....

We stayed at The Old Hall for 2 nights to attend a wedding at Hothorpe Hall in the next village. As we drove into the grounds we were amazed by the most beautiful setting and grandeur of the building. It's really very impressive. Our hosts were warm and friendly, making our stay as comfortable and happy as possible. They really...

The Old Hall is a diamond in a very sleepy village. You will not be disappointed from the moment you step into The Old Hall, till you leave. Carolyn is a wonderful hostess and the place is steeped in so much history, which if you ask, she will show you. To be honest,it was like experiencing a small slice of...

A one night stay on business. Wow what a building. Large comfortable room with access to my own living room. Great hosts & nothing was too much trouble with fresh cooked breakfast in the morning. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

What an amazing place such a warm welcome. I was only here for one night on business, but can't wait to return. The house it's self is steeped in history with a unique style. The room had fantastic views around the grounds, it was so peaceful. Carolyn sent a menu by email offering an evening meal if we wanted to...
