The hotel is advertised as a hotel and reasturant, so after a long tiring car journey we four adults were looking forward to dinner at the Costa Azul. The restaurant is actually only open for about 4 months of the year, the hottest ones, and we stayed in October. Complete mis description on both tripadvisor and booking.com. The staff spoke...

Excellent hotel in a great location only a short walk to great cafes and restaurants, the old town and cathedral. The hotel was very clean and comfortable with very friendly staff I would recommend booking one of the premium rooms as they are more spacious, I saw one of the standard rooms and it was very small. Ask for a...

If you’re looking for a quiet peaceful break then Hotel Costa Azul is the perfect place. Situated in a quiet spot just five minutes from the beach this small friendly hotel offers clean modern comfortable rooms, a lovely private pool where the only sound you can hear is wood pigeons and an occasional car passing by. There is also a...

This is a lovely hotel with lots of extras, fabulous service, a very big pool and a great breakfast. We liked the really good sized rooms, the view and the excellent food. Personally I don't like TVs on the dining room and some of the hotel is getting a little bit tired in places, but overall it was very good...

Eccentrically Charming in everyway. 18 rooms I think, out of the way very modern. Go for a walk down a lane, under the railway bridge and be surprised by a wonderous beach, sandy long & deep. Food was good to excellent. This place would be quite crowded in the height of the season as a lot of Italians go there....

I'm sorry to say that this hotel it is one the worse I've ever been in my life!! the main reason is the location! Located outside Balestrate in a very "odd" housing place, let me say a kind of garbage dump, far away from everywhere and under a motorwaybridge and nearby a forgotten railway. The worse...full of garbage everywhere! And...

We returned to the Costa Azul having enjoyed a wounderful stay last year and were not disappointed this year either. The hotel, bedrooms, swimming pool were spotlessly clean and management and staff as friendly and helpful as ever. We enjoyed really good local, authentic food dining al fresco. They laid a table for us outside when everyone else was eating...

A small hotel (just 18 rooms) and almost empty when we went, but spotlessly clean and well run. In fact the only thing we would criticise is the harsh lighting in the restaurant. The food was very good - we got a menu to choose from at breakfast each day and spent time looking forward to our evening meal. Great...

Cannot fault the cleanliness of the hotel,I was amazed to find out that we had to pay for the use of a towel for around the pool. The owner and all the staff were very friendly, however I found that it was impossible to have the use of the pool on our last 2days as the owner s family took...

We went by car and booked this hotel because it was near the airport. Happy it was just for one night. They charge you for use of towels. You are not allowed to take the towels that you obviously rent with the room out of the room. So you must pay to have towels for the beach or pool. Stayed...
