The place is very calm and nice, with the access to the beach (they take you for and back with the 'navetta'), staff is very friendly (especially Salvatore and his dog Chicco) and we had marvelous time there. They serve local cheese and sausages for breakfast and they clean the rooms every day, which is not so common in agriturismo....

Spent three nights in this hotel during a bicycle expedition with 25 other bikers. We loved it. Every evening they served a 5 course meal with wine and water ad libitum for us. It might not live up to the standards of professional hotels (?) but we loved it for its authenticity, the friendly staff, the surroundings, the beach, the...

We happened to book the last weekend when the resort closes its doors up to March. In fact we were the only residents there. Usual layout of agriturismo, but no wifi and no TV in room. Onsite restaurant had closed in September so we could not dine there. B'fast basic. Am sure it's nicer at other times of year.

We travelled to Sicily for a short break and to see some sites. We found Agriturismo Masseria sul Mare from booking.com and were happy we found a family room and that they accepted our dog also ;) thumbs up for that. Though wifi connection was poor (and a tv in the room would have complemeted our stay) and we were...

Near the beach? No, unless you count a 10 minute walk nearby. Near Syracuse? No sir, a 30 minute plus drive. Near anything of interest then? Well, Noto is about half an hour drive. Forget Avola, there's nothing there that might interest you. Nice private place to sit in the evening, or in the shade during the day? No sir....

I already reviewed this place on the booking site, but thought I would write a few comments here, too. We stayed at masseria sul mare with my fiance for 2 nights just a few weeks ago. The agriturismo is in the middle of nowhere and feels very peaceful, the building is nice and has this rustic courtyard style square. The...

Wonderful stay at Masseria sul Mare! Alessandro replied very promptly to answer our questions and accommodated our group's size and needs. There is a playground on the premises for children, and Flora, the property's very friendly dog greets you when you arrive. The ristorante is very good with great house wine. My group remarked that the food was the most...

This agriturismo is a renovated masseria with a lot of outdoor space, pleasant country surroundings, a lovely private sandy beach a short walk away and a helpful an friendly staff. A comfy place to hang out with beautiful and interesting sites, like Siracusa or Noto are just within easy reach, a half hour drive away. They tend to have seasonal...
