Arduous journey from south England to north Wales, got to Shrewsbury at rush hour in the dark - and was aware I was tired and unlikely to safely drive the remaining 30 miles to my destination. Total relief to see the sign for Services - and the Travel Lodge. Luckily, a room was

Conveniently based, close to shops and Shrewsbury centre. Rooms are clean and tidy, staff are more than helpful and give tips and advice if you are new to the area. Beds are comfortable and the premisrs is quiet meaning you get a good night's rest.

Premises is clean, staff are friendly and courteous. An ideal spot with easy access to take outs and shopping centres. Burger king and Dobbies are in the same complex as the Travelodge. There is also a gas station with a little spar and subway.

Stayed here with the family a few nights ago and visiting family. It’s very easy to find and plenty of free parking. Quite a few facilities there like Burger King and a garage. Other facilities like Pizza Hut only 1/2 mile away and it’s only couple miles outside Shrewsbury.

My room was facing the main road but I found it very quiet due to the bushes and trees, couldn't see the road from the room I stayed in, in fact wasn't really aware that the road was there. I stayed on a Saturday night and didn't return to the room until late so maybe the road was quieter than a week night, either way I don't think it would be too noisy.
