Above average layout and fine location at the base of the mountain. You ski out from the Lodge's Boot room and ski shop lockable ski rack onto novice slope and double chair to get to the main quad chair. While not massive and commercial as the Utah and Colorado mountains, there are a half dozen Lodge/Inn-Restaurant-skishops that make up the...

The hotel is on the mountain so the view from our room was amazing. It was surreal to wake up to the glow of the snowy mountains every morning. The room was clean and decorated nicely. All of the employees were accommodating and very helpful. One of the best amenities they had was their underground covered parking, which came in...

A great place to stay while in Taos ski valley. A short walk from the main ski lifts. The rooms are a decent size, clean with a modern yet rustic vibe. The hotel staff and management are the best. Taos ski valley has a quaint vibe which will transport you back in time. If you want a break from being...

We stayed in a two bedroom condo with 3 children, ages 16, 10 and 7. It was furnished with everything we could have possibly needed and the ski in/ski out feature is unmatched on the mountain. Our room overlooked Strawberry Hill and we could watch our kids in ski school from our room. It was everything we could have hoped...

Location is excellent being right in the village of Taos Ski Valley. Beware that there is construction going on in the village and it starts early and ends late. Lots of noise! Lots of mud! The unit I stayed in was nicely appointed, but a little dated. Linens- both sheets and towels- were below standard. No pay per view in...

We certainly appreciate the feedback and can assure you we are as ready for the construction to end as anyone. Thankfully it will indeed all be completed by the start of the 2016/17 ski season (Thanksgiving Day). Note that we have opted to close the property for the summer of 2016 to avoid issues related to the extensive construction activities...

We are a family of 5 with kids aged 9, 7, and 3. We take a spring break ski trip every year and the Edelweiss was the PERFECT home base for our family in Taos. Convenience with 3 little ones is always our top priority, and we could ski in/out right from the property and it was a very short...

The staff were all friendly and helpful. Kent put a great package together for us. We had everything we needed and more right within the lodge area. Our 2 bedroom unit was 307 and was well equipped for us to enjoy our family dinners in the unit or at times we went to the lodge restaurant and enjoyed our meals...

Had a wonderful time with family and friends this last week. You can literally ski out the back door and pick up a lift. The location is perfect and the view is stunning. Nice restaurant/bar on site as well as gym with hot tub and sauna. We were there on a weekday trip so it was nice and quiet. The...

Thanks you for the comments and we hope to see you back again. Taos is a special place for those who find it. Getting here takes a little more effort than many of the larger resorts but I like to think that the personal service and outstanding terrain (and lack of crowds) makes it well worth the trip. We love this mountain and love the Edelweiss! Our family of four stayed in Unit 207 - 2 bedrooms/2.5 baths (plus queen sleeper in the living room). Beautiful unit with amazing mountain views. Truly ski in and ski out: Boots on in the comfortable changing room, skis waiting at adjacent ski shop, and hit the slopes. Kids can ski right...
