A decent hotel with good location and the basic necessities.. There are 2 rows of shops just outside the hotel and things are reasonably priced. A good 10 mins walk to the nearest bus stop. Breakfast is not fantastic.

When going to Wu Dang Shan, I can only strongly recommend to find a hotel up in the mountains and not down at the tourist village. The big difference is that you are where you want to go and you don't have to take (and pay) the bus to go up the mountains each morning. When searching online for a hotel, it's not always easy to figure out whether a hotel is down in the village or up in the mountain. This one is and it is quite good as well. It is of course not really a four star hotel according to international standards, but it is clean, the rooms are big, although a little bit dark and when you get a room to the backside, you can even enjoy a great view over the mountains. In the village where the hotel is located you will find several private kitchens, where people just set up little restaurants in the ground floor of their houses and serve you food cooked in their own kitchen. That's delicious and a real nice experience! In addition, you find a supermarket and some small shops. From the village it is only a short bus ride to the main temple, or you can start hiking just a few more meters up the hill where the village ends.

The Taichi hotel was one of the slightly higher priced hotels up on wudangshan but well worth it. People will tell you that there is no international hotels past the bus ride point (not true!). Go with all your stuff on the bus ride and you will find an another entire area of hotels! The TaiChi hotel is right there, so every morning you don't have to pay the bus fare & ticket to go up the mountain. You can look out your window and see right off the cliff face of Mt. Wudang!
