We stayed for one night at Ai-Aiba Lodge. The location is spectacular and offers a magnificent view to a truly amazing landscape. The lodge is managed by Melissa and Kevin, a young couple who put their hearts and energy into making your stay perfect. Their empathy and dedication was outstanding and the entire staff did everything possible to make us...

Thanks very much for this wonderful review. We have recently taken over management of Ai Aiba Lodge with most of the staff, including the managers, being new. It is great to see that their enthusiasm and commitment to their work was reflected in your stay. We hope to see you again soon.

Thanks for this great review. This is truly a spectacular part of Namibia and the rock art sites in the area are incredible. We are working hard to train up our guides so that we can offer a host of activities to complement this great area. We hope to see you back again soon.

The lodge is located on the foot of huge boulders, wich gives it a beautiful location with different walking options. Rooms are spacious but a bit outdated (especially bathrooms); due to the colouring one cannot really see if it is clean or not. Huge restaurant with small seating area and even smaller bar area. Dinner was ok. Management (owner?) seem...

Thanks for your honest review. We have recently taken over management of the lodge and during your stay I can only assume we were busy with the hand over procedures which would have distracted us from hosting your professionally, please accept our apologies. We have and are busy implementing a number of changes to the lodge and I'm sure on...

Arrived in time to walk the 1hour hiking trail around camp and view the rock paintings made by San people 1000s of years ago. Also joined the night drive saw genet, wildcat and aardvark. Ruppel's parrot joined the lovebirds at the birdbath! Food good rooms comfy. Road access unfortunately badly corrugated

Very average in all aspects. Staff need training as they don't know how to make coffee or tea. We had to ask for service and food is over priced. Views are spectacular. Bush man paintings are very good. The lodge is in a beautiful position with huge rocky outcrops around it. It has great potential once management issues and staff...

A quaint, remote resort near the famous rock paintings region in Namibia. Rooms are basic: expect a clean bed and bathroom, but no Wifi or mobile phone reception except in the lobby. Airconditioning is on a metered connection that switches off during certain times of the day. Best rock shandy in Namibia at the bar, with views of warthogs on...

Beautiful place, situated in the middle of nowhere, very good food, nice and clean rooms, clean pool, good drive on top of the hill, interesting rock carvings, friendly staff, klipschliefers and warthogs! Here you can relax!

The mountains here are so beautiful it is worth the extra drive off the main route - not too far off the journey between WIndhoek and Okonjima - to enjoy the remote basin of rounded rocks surrounding the lodge. If you have had your wildlife fix elsewhere then this is a good place to chill out. The area has plenty...

What a nice place!! No bright lights, no music, no cell phone (OK.... selectively)! Go to Ai-Aiba if you want to relax! Good food, friendly personnel!! Roads towards Ai-Aiba through the Conservancy is fair. It may be very hot during summer but select your time. Although the lodge was busy.....one always get the feeling of "no other people" due to...

A great lodge in an other worldly setting Ai Aiba lodge is set in an area of granite rock outcrops which are distinctive for the large boulders sitting, as if detached, on top. The lodge is beautifully designed, clean and with mature gardens and tasteful decor. The service was excellent and food very good. The hosts were very friendly and...
