Clean and spacious room. Water pressure of the shower is very low. Have to say, exceed my expectation with the low room rate. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are not sound proof. Location is great as in walking distance with all well-known restaurants and the market. Might be quite cold in cold season especially in December and January. Not sure...

The room was large and cool but a little tired. The bathroom shower was a bath tub without a curtain so the floor became wet. The bed was a little firm but not out of the usual for this part of the world. Wifi was intermittent and fairly weak in the rooms. Breakfast was upstairs and the omelettes were great....

I always use Winner whenever I take the overnight bus from Yangon to Kalaw as the hotel is conveniently located along the main road where the bus stops and luggage can be offloaded. If you inform them ahead, the boys who take care of the reception will wait for you. Otherwise, just knock on the door and they'll spring awake...

Good location, but very close to a Pagoda (chanting everyday at 5.30am). friendly staff. Rooms okay, shower a catastroph, no water pressure! (Hair washing for women with long hairs nearly impossible) Laundry expensive (cheap possibilities at Inle lake)

We did not have any choice in the booking of the next set of hotels as it was all booked by our group, Intrepid Travel. This was a budget hotel with a very central location in the the very lovely Kalaw. Modest rooms with all you need and a proper lovely view onto the street and the local temple. Sunrises...

We stayed here for two nights and had a large family room, in which the lamps didn't work. The bathroom was just about adequate until you took the bath plug out and the floor flooded. The breakfast was odd it was a small orange and a weak tea. Then the girl brought a fried egg followed about five minutes later...

Good base for day trekking. One block from the local market. Rooms were basic and clean. Breakfast had a good variety to start the day. Lovely views of the town from yjr restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed at Winner hotel for 1 night before going for the trek the day after. From outside, for sure you wouldn't feel staying in this place at all but for one night it's fine. You should go there without any expectations . Good points: 1. The hotel is just in the front of the night bus drop-off. This is...

We stayed here just for 1 night and chose this place as it's exactly at the stop of the nightbus arriving from Bagan. The room itself was quite ok and we had decent breakfast but unfortunately the bathroom was really not ok. The shower was not working at all so in the end we showered with 1 little stripe of...
