Great guesthouse with comfy traditional rooms (tatami mats and futons) and excellent modern facilities (shared shower rooms, kitchen and communal lounge area). The location is perfect in the centre of picturesque Magome. We really enjoyed walking around the village in the quiet mornings and evenings. We also enjoyed the walk over the hill to Tsumago on the old postal road. It was really easy to get to the guesthouse from Nakatsugawa Station on the regular bus. The breakfast was really good and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great stay!

Really charming authentic Japanese guest house set in a picturesque village on the Nakasendo trail route. The guest house is a traditional style with tatami mats, futon beds and shared bathroom facilities. Spotlessly clean and a very friendly and helpful host. The hotel provides a generous buffet style breakfast. Highly recommended.
