We stayed for one night recently. We booked a twin room and were given a room that had 4 single beds crammed into it. Of the 8 lightbulbs were working, the shower tray didn't drain, there was no heating (apart from a very small electric fan heater), wasn't clean, we were told breakfast was "continental" - it was cereal &... Ava House B&B in Bicester is quite a traditional B&B. It's a good value for money. The owner/manager was very helpful. Check-in/out time could be prearranged. It's very close to Bicester North train station. Bus communication width Bicester Town, Bicester Village and Oxford is very good. There are pub and take away food shops and a Coop store just opposit... More

Stopped here for 4 nights and at first I expected the worst but honestly it wasn't bad at all. The rooms clean and tidy though the ensuites were tiny. Saying that you got your own shower and toilet so no complaints. The heating was controlled by TRV and worked very well. Never had a cold now get there. Breakfasts a... More

I enjoyed my stay here, the rooms were clean and I was made to feel welcome. Continental breakfast was available at any time and as I was leaving early the following morning this was ideal for me! I found this B&B was one of the cheapest in the area but in no way did it come across that way, everything... More

There are no thrills at this B&B. Stayed for 2 nights recently and basic doesn't come close. Booked 2 single rooms and when we arrived we were given a twin room. Tried to complain but every time I went downstairs there was either no one around or they didn't speak English. There was dirty carpet throughout, key code lock on... More

I went there for a couple of days, because all the hotels in the area were all full. Very low standard... Rooms very essential and not smelling good. Very expensive comparing the quality... Breakfast was unbelievable, there was only milk, coffee and cereals!

I stayed for 4 nights, but had to cancel my last night ( gave 48 notice) but the very rude owner refused to give me my money back for the day I had canceled 2 days earlier. The rooms was very unclean and the owner was very rude to me and 2 other guests. Rip off and a dump. Avoid... More

The manager and staff were very friendly and always spoke to me with respect and smiled at me whereever i... More

Amazing stay! I was there for two whole months, very clean, very professional. Everybody is very nice! You indeed feel like you are at home! The location is also great, there is a pub right in front of it, and it's very close to a bus stop.
