Well-located in Baie Saint Catherine in front of the river. I have booked a small cottage with all essential services. Not luxury. Room is clean. Not wifi working. Breakfast is normal. Service was professional but not very warm.

It was at the end of a long day, they had just one chalet left, and there were no other open rooms within 20 miles so we went for it.we didn't need the three beds or two bedrooms so had to pay more than we bargained for but it was a pretty spot and a friendly staff. Because we ended... More

My husband and I took a one night break from camping as it was a cold and rainy 8 drgree Celsius day on July 7! We found this motek with an amazing view on the St-Lawrence River! The motel offers a beach where you can go down to by stairs and walk(which we did). The motel was clean enough but... More

Great views of belugas far out in the bay, from the restaurant windows. Friendly staff. Good food. Small but good rooms. However the best feature, the restaurant view, is inaccessible much of the day. Even sitting there or having a coffee is not allowed between lunch and 6pm dinner. At that hour they turn on porch lights, so diners cannot... More

I read many mixed reviews and decided to take my chances. I am glad I did the room was a decent price . It was clean but did smell a little musty. the staff were very friendly and accommodating. There were lots of parking spaces. The motel is on the bay and has outdoor seating and a cess to the... More

Me and my family stayed here as a base for a whale watching trip and the seaplane trip over the St. Lawrence river - it was great; a gem. Other reviews point out the functional nature of the rooms which I agree with but they were clean, bathrooms fine; we had highway side rooms which weren't that noisy. It isn't... More

Motel le vacancier is very convenient to the whale-watching tours at Croisieres AML. We stayed in a cabin with two bedrooms and a kitchenette. It was old but clean. The riverside was only a short walk and a staircase away. The sunset was very beautiful. We also ate at the motel's restaurant for supper and breakfast. The food was simple... More

Slightly confusing choosing from the menu with limited French. Although we wished to choose a main from the plat du jour menus which was individually priced. This was 'not allowed' strangely. However, the food was ok and fairly priced. My husband had salmon fillet which was cooked with syrup and sesame, while I had a salmon penne. Both were fine... More

After a disappointing day of whale-watching, we went to check in. They had given away our cottage and switched us to a highway side room. After discussing it with the rude front desk staff, they gave us a waterside room. The room was in need of updates but clean. After travelling to Tadoussac for dinner, I wish we has stayed... More

We stayed exactly one night and are very glad that was all the time we had there. Definitely a mediocre -but startlingly expensive- property with tired rooms, scratched walls and no decorations to speak of. Staff were acceptable but warned me that only one key was available and that if I inadvertently locked myself out, there would be a "hefty"... More
