We stayed for 1 night on 23rd April. The owner was very welcoming when we arrived and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and very filling and everyon who worked there was very friendly and helpful Would definitely stay there again

What a lovely Old Rectory it is. Friendly staff. The room was so lovely in every way. Very clean and comfortable. Good selection of complimentary teas and coffees, sweets, plus The Milk Tray Man had been into our room and left us a lovely box of chocolates! The breakfast was huge and delicious, so not for the faint hearted! Must...

A very pleasant experience, the room was well equipped with every facility one would want, Our room was at the top of the house so quite a few stairs, so not for the feint hearted, a warm welcome and superb cooked breakfast. Very close to all the local attractions.

We had the Wrekin room for our 2 nights stay , it had a lovely 4 poster bed and lots of comfortable chairs to rest your legs after long walks . Breakfast was amazing we didn't need to eat till 7 in the evening plus all the little extras that made our stay so enjoyable , would definitely recommend this...

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was outstanding. Great selection of complimentary teas and coffees. Bathroom was amazing with a double jacuzzi bath and fitted shower. Breakfast was perfect. Huge selection of cereals, yogurts, toast and full English. Didn't need to eat again until the evening. Went out on second day and came back to a complimentary box...

I love this place, I've stayed here twice. Very welcoming owner, happy to offer advice on where to visit and where to eat. Stunning rooms, absolute stunning. Beautifully decorated, absolutely spotless, and the little breakfast tables have so much choice you feel like royalty sat there enjoying the beverages and biccies :). We arrived early afternoon and were kindly given directions by David to a local restaurant we wanted to walk to and he also offered us the option of bringing our bags inside. We later returned and checked in at 4pm and were shown to our room, we stayed in the Wenlock room. The room looks beautiful in the photos but...

Made very welcome room spotlessly clean and everything you could have wished for . Breakfast was amazing , ask for a small portion unless you like large meals . We look forward to our next visit .Good location for sightseeing.

Good size ensuite room,filled with antique furniture. Every extra included down to nail files.Breakfast sees you through the day.well placed to visit Iron bridge and other musems.We had down stairs room which could be noisy when people come in,there are only two down stairs the rest upstairs.

thanks sproggydog....(.and I thought we had a no pets policy.) sadly , some guests are noisy and others are not. we though of waterboarding the culprits but as yet no one has volunteered for the "Guantanamo breaks" package. please accept my apology for this nuisance, I appreciate that it is a real nuisance we have a plan to move reception...
