We called in recently for lunch and chose the wild mushroom cannelloni. It was very tasty and was well presented. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The sticky toffee pudding could have been a bit stickier. It was just sponge with sauce poured over ....More

We ate dinner here and although the food was OK we were really disappointed with the lack of variety on the menu. It was really basic and we are not foodies by any means. Service was nice and friendly but we couldn't understand how the...More

Oh dear. Apologies. We just can’t please everyone.
Just the other day we had it conforms by a review that while the choice was not huge it was good. A fresh food kitchen taking advantage of seasonal produce will never have a huge menu because...More

Hello.
We have added the 10% for two years now and did it because it became an industry trend and we followed where others lead. We also did it because most people do leave a tip and want to add 10% so now we do it before they ask for it so they don’t have to wait. The service industry is about doing what most people want and the adjusting to those that are not most people.
When we hand the bill to the customer we say it’s discretionary so that those who don’t feel we have earnt it can request to take it off. If we didn’t ask you I apologise but because it says discretionary you should feel quite confident in asking for it to be removed. We really don’t mind.
I hope this answers your question.
Regards
Jane
