About 8km off the main road outside Ghanzi. The facilities comprise of a camping ground and fairly basic accommodation. There are decent toilets and shower blocks. If you are camping for an extra 100 Pula per night you can stay in one of the straw huts. These have a concrete floor and basic beds. There are mossie nets, but they... More

The hut was very basic, with two camp cots (with terrible mattresses) but good mosquito nets. (Not that you really need them in the desert!) There was even electric lighting. As a way to experience some of the way the San Bushmen live, it's unique. Absolutely do the bushmen walk and the evening dance, which do cost extra. (90 pula... More

We had wonderful hospitality here! Our hostess and her team were so helpful and made us feel welcome, fetched us from Ghanzi and took us back again to fit in with local buses. We were so comfortable in our rondavel, complete with mosquito nets. The mattresses were rather too soft and mishapen, so could be improved but that was a... More

This was the worst camp of our 30 days trip. Staff was very unfriendly, food was very poor, the bar was out of any drinks after 2 orders and although advertised that VISA cards were accepted it was not the case. On top of this all they invited us to join a bushman dance afterwhich they tried to force us... More

We stayed here for one night. It was a funny and interesting experience to sleep in that little hut. One toilet was disgusting (dont want to blame the owners but the guest who messed it and didn't clean it afterwards), other toilets were okay. Showers had warm water. The bushmen walk was okay but still felt kind of strange sometimes.... More

Our cabin had no blankets and it was quite cold. We could have asked for blankets as others did, so this is mostly our fault. Other rooms were missing mosquito nets and everything seemed inconsistent. It was way too cold for an outdoor bathroom, but I am sure it is nice when the weather is warmer. All things considered it... More

Nice simple chalets. No fuzz but pretty interior. No AC and acceptable outdoor toilet and shower. Lots of blankets for cold nights. Very interesting and informative bush dance and walk by the sand people. Good beds and pillows.

Spent a night here on a Nomad overland tour and liked it. The room was in a little thatched roof chalet with a half indoor/ outdoor bathroom ( an enclosed courtyard type thing). It was cute and was pretty comfortable.

Our group was supposed to stay in the bushmen huts, but by some luck we got into chalets instead. Frankly this was great, the huts were quite sparse. But they did have pretty nice looking beds and would be fine if you wanted the experience. The bathrooms in the chalets were SO COOL! You stepped outside and the cool dry... More

Personally, I loved this place but it's not for everyone. It can be brutally hot and, for older folks, there's no A/C so little sleep. That said, it's well designed, crippled only by its location -- out in the bush. The good news is that its connection to the bushmen is genuine and your stay there helps these people, often... More
