Stayed here in July 2016 for 4 nights, room very shabby and in need of some TLC like most of the hotel. Was fairly clean though but lots of noise from people leaving the hotel on the Saturday night and a very noisy road behind the hotel. Breakfast was awful only went done the first morning that was enough, even...

Staff are very friendly & helpful. Breakfast superb. Its a very quirky hotel but it is very old its like being in a fun house. Bed was comfortable & rooms well equipped & clean. Some parts are dated but staff more than make up for this.

This was my first visit here and I can say it was ok. I was there as part of a large organised lunch for about 100 people. Yes it looks dated in parts but is was very clean and the staff are a credit to the management. The food was what you would expect from this kind of establishment. My...

Apparently this hotel has bits from almost every century since the 16th. The problem is that they don't fit together very well. We only stayed one night as planned. It was inexpensive with a clean and comfortable bed and a very good breakfast. There was off street parking, which I suspect is at a premium in Launceston. The staff were...

Another great golf tour, this time with only 1 wet morning! Pam, as usual, could not be faulted although the hotel is sadly still becoming a little tired. It is still providing excellent food although the service at times leaves a lot to be desired especially at breakfast. I hate admitting this because overall it provides local employment. Attention to...

We stayed one night, down for a family christening. Arrived very early, 3 hours before we were due to check in. The receptionist was very helpful and said come back in 30 minutes and our room was all ready. Great, as we had had a 3 1/2 hour drive, so it was nice to get unpacked before 2pm. The room...

Stayed here for a family funeral. Staff were mainly friendly and helpful especially Jess and Sheila. who went out of their way to help us ..Breakfast set up somewhat haphazard if you wanted sauces you hunted them out yourself as their location was not explained. Toast was white only and preferences not sought for eggs etc. On one occasion porridge...

Walked in to a nice environment, staff were polite and caring, and funny too. Worth the visit. The food was fantastic and I am a lover of pub grub. Definitely come back here again. The only downfall is that you have to walk into the building by walking past a few smokers which isn't very nice.

We needed to eat and after being in the car since 11:30 we stumbled upon the White Hart hotel around 6pm. ( free parking after 6pm in the town centre ) We went into the pub part and the locals and staff were extremely welcoming even taking pity on our 16 year old and giving him a wifi code. The...

They offer an all day carvery every Sunday. Very reasonably priced. You buy the size plate you would like then the chef carves the meat you choose. I chose the 8.50 pound sixe plate which was plenty. The day my party of four attended, Sunday 21 Aug, there was a choice of beef, gammon and turkey. I think they change...
