We stayed there on our tour of New Zealand while on honeymoon the owners were lovely and very accommodating making us a wonderful breakfast & provided lots of tips and advice for travelling and things to see or do. The room was gorgeous as was the views from the Balcony and the upstairs sitting and dinning area. Really different from...

We stayed here for one night during a drive around the Coromandel and absolutely loved it. The Lodge is on a hill and boasts great sunset views of the water. We had a lovely room that met all of our needs. The hosts, Christine and Drew were great and invited us to cook in the kitchen after we were rained...

The real 'Wow' factor of this accommodation is 1) the amazing view from the bedroom and also from the upstairs sitting and dining room, 2) the lovely hosts, who were quite charming., 3) the beautiful garden that surrounds the property. The rooms are clean and comfortable and spacious. We had a perfect two night stop over.

Most definitely not a "lodge". More like someone's house. My heart sank when we pulled up and saw a hand written notice telling people to take their shoes/boots off, and not to bring mud in. One of the owners turned up with bare feet. We had the so called family room. First, I am shown a bathroom. Discussion around the...

La Casa Lodge was established in the early 1990's as a Lodge. The Lodge has had several owners and two different names. The present owners purchased the Lodge in 2011 and continue to run the Lodge as a Lodge and to date not a Bed and Breakfast. Therefore NO breakfast is included in the price. NO advertising at the date...

We stopped over for our first night in NZ arriving straight from the airport. Run by a friendly couple who are restoring the property. Magical sunset & stunning views for breakfast. Great ice cream at the local store.

This was a break in our journey, rather than a chosen destination. Te Puru was quiet but with a pleasant beach front walk and a useful shop at the holiday park. The main feature of our room was the view. Set on the hill looking north along the coast, with a tremendous sunset. The room was comfy and all essential...

We had a 2 room3 person accomodation, with a bathroom shared with the rest of the floor. The beds are very comfortable and clean and the decor olde worlde charming. Our hosts Andrew and Christine, were delightful...friendly, helpful, good conversationalists. They have worked wonders with what was a very derelict and overgrown property. The views from the dining room are...

Yes the stunning fires over the Firth are spectacular to watch as the sun disappears over the Hunua Ranges. Many a night has been spent with our guests in our dining room sharing stories and a lot of laughs. We are so pleased that you all enjoyed your stay here.
