I dont know what happen :(( I used to be exited for every meal in this place. I used to look forward to staying at this place. Now, i dont know what happen but over my 4 day stay, i did not recive a single peice of food that was atleast remotely "Tasty". Everything was EXTREMLY oversalted and tasted like nothing... i honestly dont know what to say. I dont know if they just gave up on us since we were staying here as guests for 4 days or if this is how it normaly runs but we were a group of 20 people and not one of us enjoyed the food!!! It makes me sad to see this place go down like this. Whats sader is that its the most expensive place around. 8€ for fried cheese not counting the fries.... one restaurant down the slope and the prices are haf of this place... The only reason i gave it 2 stars and not 1 is because i value the history of this place. I used to go here since the age of 4 and let me tell you, it was never like this... I dont know if i have the will to return. It just makes me sad to see a nice place like this go down. The person working the bar even had the urge to come and tell me i was "Molesting" their dog after i decided to pet him on acount of him squeeling of joy when he saw new guests... At-least get your heating to work. Please.…
Perfect location directly on the slope, nice traditional accommodation, food was perfect (they call it "Slovak Evening") and people running this place are absolutelly amazing. Lot of fun and good memmories. I'll be back for sure..
Excellent, ... brilliant staff, fantastic atmosphere, tasty food, good memories... definitely coming back. Highly recommend for holiday in winter or summer. We loved it here. Kids didn't want to leave and stay for much longer
We stopped by for a lunch during our ski trip in Jasna. This restaurant has a traditional wooden style. The food is nice and the stuff is very friendly. They have good beer on tap too. It is worth to visit this place. It is on the slope thus very easy to visit during skiing.
It is nice and clean place to stay right on the slope. Restaurant has nice interior and they do cook above expectations. Been there during summer time, its quite there with lot of options for walking.
Nice acommodation, food was fine. Beautiful mountains! Room was fine, smaller bathroom. Thin walls - you can here people in next rooms. Great for treking trips to Chopok and Dumbier. Big aquapark in Liptovsky Mikulas to relax after treking. Several caves nearby.
Koliesko restaurant is a hidden gem at Jasna, a really nice place near the slope Biely Put. They offer very nice traditional food. The place is nicely decorated with various tools and stuff from the old days. Some toys are available for kids.
+ Excellent location for skiing + Family atmosphere + Great breakfast + Option to order dinner (most typically Slovak) + The opportunity to lunch here + Stylishly furnished rooms - Go to the restaurant from the outside
It is great place sleeping in Jasna Ski resort. I recommend this for your staying and also eating in Jasna. Old place where our mothers and fathers skiing in Jasna before. The Restaurant is still good little but over the budget but better the French fries in buffet.
I'm wondering if I should be letting the world know about this chalet as I might not be able to get back with our group of families when we try to return, but we owe it to Martin and his team for giving us such a wonderful time. The rooms were simple with small CRT TVs (no English channels), impeccably clean, and showers did not seem to run cold at all during our stay. If you like big towels though, note that those provided are not much bigger than hand towels as is the European norm. Breakfasts were very good continental style with additions of eggs, french toast or sausage. The dining area then becomes a public restaurant/bar. We ate good very reasonable half board soup + main ( with vegetarian option) in the evening most nights but did try the well-priced a-la-carte menu of local specialities for lunches and the last night. The chalet is true ski in/ski out and the highest accomodation in the resort, at the top of the main learner's slope. If find yourself down the bottom of the resort after the lifts close it's a long walk up the piste back to the chalet - best to have a few more drinks and talk nicely to the guys on the lift station once the night skiing starts! We largely ended up eating and drinking in the chalet restauarant most nights playing a drinking game hammering nails into the end of a log with the pointy end of a geologist's hammer! Throughout Martin and his team were wonderful and patient hosts. We'd recommend Miloš Bartek for ski hire and FIS Ski School, who both have shops in the Hotel FIS immediately below the chalet. All in all it was a fabulous and very reasonable family ski holiday. We'll probably be back in a year or two once the resort get snow cannons to the top of the mountain to allow access to the South side of the mountain as the good skiers ran out of man-made piste (bad snow season).…
