A cozy masseria, very peaceful, pleasant pool area with bar and plenty of space. Rooms are elegant (we had a terrace suite) and comfortable, the bathroom was especially nice. Breakfast is only average, the restaurant is good though. Overall, it is good value and I recommend it. A few suggestions for the owners: - add shelves in the closets, we had to use the bookcase to store our shirts! - wifi is a disaster and must be improved! considering that phone reception is very bad, we were practically isolated - breakfast could be better with more local products and no prepackaged stuff - offer a laundry service - for dinner, offer some homemade desserts in addition to the "spumone" (excellent, but not prepared by the chef) - improve the wine list - finally: while the waiters were very nice (the girl especially), the various persons holding the reception were always proper but never warm or friendly... overall, I felt as if I was in a business hotel.…
After a 40 minute taxi drive from Brindisi to Corda di Lana, I was ready for a swim and some time to relax amongst the magnificent olive groves of this area. A warm welcome from the staff when I arrived was a sign of the lovely stay that followed. They were superb and went out of their way to help at every opportunity possible. The rooms were spacious, spotless, well appointed and incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a wonderful array of cakes, pastries and cookies, as well as cereals, fruit, cheese and meats. Accompanied by cappuccino that we ordered every morning at no extra cost, this was a great way to start the day. We had dinner at the resort once, and this was probably the least impressive part of the stay. The pool is spectacular, a short walk from the accommodations. Great to start the day at the pool or wind down after exploring many of the towns or beaches in the area. We will definitely return. Thanks to all for a great stay. …
Its not a Masseria experience as food is not produced locally, more of a standard hotel experience. Olive oil, despite being surrounded by olive trees and the Masseria producing its own products, offers locally produced at breakfast. The service is poor. There was no information on the area, best beaches and restaurants to go to. They mention Resort but the spa closed and we had to drive 20 minutes to a private beach where we paid 30 Euros to enter. The location is close to a main road if you don't mind noise while relaxing close to the pool area. The pool area is inconvenient. You have to walk passed the reception and back to the main gate to the pool. I would not recommend it unless someone is looking for a standard hotel experience.
My wife and I stayed on this Masseria for 4 nights, we found it perfect for our needs, quiet, relaxing, rooms very comfortable and spacious, great breakfast and very well kept garden and green areas. The pool was a little bit disappointing, it's not really open until late morning so if you are up for an early start swimming you are there really on your own, fine for me but the average English customer would expect a lifeguard to be always there, plus the swimming pool bar was not really in full operations yet. That said any request we made to the lovely Riccardo and all other staff they went the extra mile to make us happy, for this reason we give 4 stars hoping that next time they we will be visiting they will be 5. Good luck Corda di Lana
Great experience. Wonderful accomodation - we booked a suite with terrace. Very spacious, stylish and comfortable. The management team of Christian and Fabio were extremely helpful and professional , very attentive. Nice swimming pool. Restaurant was a real pleasure . The breakfast selection was faultless. The optional evening meals offered were varied in choice, well cooked and presented and very good value for money. In summary - perfecto !
