We stayed one night at deBarra Lodge before embarking on the Wild Atlantic Way by motorcycle. The Lodge was just what we needed, a fantastic spotless room, and welcoming hosts that provide a breakfast spread that will keep you smiling for hours afterwards.

Sinead was a fantastic host. Welcoming me and my girlfriend in when another nearby b+b was fully booked. She was very understanding and accommodating. The room was spacious and pristine with Windows looking out onto a picturesque Irish hill side. The location is excellent, while still being close to town and feeling secluded on the countryside along a little country...

From the warmest of welcomes by Sinead and Dan to the spacious comfortable bedroom, our stay here was relaxing and hard to leave. One minor comment would be that it would have been nice to have coffee facilities in the room.

Everything was perfect, we couldn't have asked for better. The food was fantastic and the rooms were spotless. Most of all, from the welcome we received until we sadly said "goodbye", our hosts went out of their way to make sure that our stay was impeccable. Well done Sinead and Dan, you have really set the standards for B &...

This B&B is beautiful. It is perched on a hillside and a beautiful building. Spotless throughout, room was lovely. En-suite and room was immaculate. Breakfast - oh my goodness... it was wonderful. Freshly cooked, plentiful, healthy, yummy. The guest sitting room had tea/coffee/snacks, the fire was lit and tv on - nice space to have away from the bedroom. The...

I stayed here for just the one night while on business in Roscarbery. The B and B is beautiful set in a peaceful surrounding. My room and en suite were fabulous, very clean and modern. I met a colleague at the Celtic Ross hotel and I must say the B and B rooms were much much better than the hotel...

I am from Ireland myself but any tourist coming to our countryside should seriously consider opting for a B&B over a hotel, you get a certain warmth and friendliness in B&Bs that you do not get in many hotels. The De Barra lodge may just be my favourite B&B in the country. Sinead and Dan took great care of us,...

We were there today, it looks excellent but unfortunately it was fully booked. The owner was incredibly kind with us, she spent more than 20 minutes at the phone searching an accommodation for us - and she got it!! Extremely kind and helpful. In case they read this review: thanks thanks thanks!!! The hotel in dunmanway is perfect!
