We didn’t stay at the hotel but our car broke down near the hotel. We walked to the reception to ask for help and they were really nice. Helped with finding a taxi so we could get back as our car wouldn’t be ready until the following day.
Love this hotel mainly because of where it is. Not much options on the menu for coeliacs. The rooms have been updated as such but so much more needs updating within the hotel. We saw a wedding ceremony set up and I was shocked at how shabby it was thrown together. It should reflect its setting.
Very enjoyable. Food disappointing. Loved swimming pool Bar was nice staff were efficient.. nice to get the paper one day. Breakfast was ok it was the dinner that was disappointing. Room very clean and tidy..
Friendly, proactive and personal service all around - super staff, the making of the hotel, particularly Spa and Katie - and the rooms and facilities are absolutely fine, for this grade. Only gripe was the dinner, not the greatest... the location is perfect for exploring this beautiful region, including the local beaches and villages (and Rosscarbery is an easy 5 mins up the hill!)
hotel was very clean and food was good the hotel provided you with easy access to many different routes to view West Cork in all its splendour during great Sun Shine. Outside seating and access to restaurant very good staff very helpful
Recently stayed with my wife and 2 sons aged 5 and 7 , had a wonderful experience, food was lovely and staff were very friendly, 2 boys loved the kids club in the evening...Will definitely be back....
We had a great stay in this lovely hotel. The hotel and swimming pool were really good. The location of this hotel is brilliant and fantastic base to explore West Cork. Definitely a place to go back to
Love the Celtic Ross hotel in Rosscarbery. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. A beautiful hotel set in idyllic scenery. The food is delicious, we miss the fillet steaks !It does the soul good to stay here.
We booked for 2 adults and one child. What was supposed to be a family room, was a camp bed slotted in by the wall. It was a very humid night and no air con, just a desktop fan, nobody slept, also the barking dog didn't help! The staff at the meal were nice and the meal was nice.. Small pool but the bubble pool was a big hit.. The breakfast was nice.. The view is fabulous of course..
Location is very good. Rooms are nicely decorated with robes and coffee maker in the room however mattress feels old and uncomfortable. Staff are nice and friendly although breakfast was slow arriving on a couple of the mornings.
