I can't recommend this bnb highly enough. Mavis and Terry are wonderful hosts , the house is stunning and the breakfast would keep you going all day ! We stayed for 1 night while attending a wedding in larchfield estate. Upon arrival we were shown to our room - we stayed in the Garden Room which is so beautifully decorated...

In Northern Ireland for the first time, we spent two special and memorable nights at Fort William Country House. From the booking process through every element of the stay, the welcome was warm, hospitable and comfortable. Mavis and Terry are impeccable hosts, and felt like family from the time we entered the door. We miss them -- and their beautiful...

Mavis and Terry were wonderful hosts at the weekend. We stayed as a group of five who were attending a wedding at Larchfields. We had a truly wonderful stay and the tea and cake on arrival were great. The rooms were lovely, clean and spacious and amenties were plentiful. Breakfast was a treat and our attempts to recreate the bread...

We stayed here for one night and enjoyed it immensely. Mavis and Terry are wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. Dorothy the dog was friendly too. We went for the continental breakfast which was marvellous. The fresh orange juice was delicious and Mavis makes her own brown bread, the best I have tasted, The en-suite Primrose room was...

We stayed at Fortwilliam when we attended a wedding nearby. It was perfect! Kittens, homemade cake and pots of tea on arrival and our room was beautiful. Mavis was so helpful dropping us off at the wedding venue and organising transport the next day. Breakfast was out of this world! Eggs fresh from their chickens, thick bacon and my first...

A candy residence! At the arrival when the lady showed us the room we closed our eyes thinking to be in a wedding trip! Not only the room but all the house is tastefully decorated: e.g. wall paper with roses linked with the pillow case! We talked a lot with the very nice owners, practicing our weak English, in the...

Accommodations are clean and comfortable and anything from fruit and yogurt, pancakes, or traditional Irish breakfast are prepared by Mavis while she and her husband Terry entertain with lively conversation. We were there for a week during the Irish Open. We had a wonderful time and...

This is a beautiful old country house a few minutes drive from Hillsborough which is an interesting village with some very good restaurants. The house is very elegant, spotlessly clean with everything you need in your room including a trouser press. Beds were really comfortable and the room was really quiet. Mavis and Terry were so welcoming and wanted us...

We stayed for one night in this beautiful B&B and our hosts Mavis & Terry couldn't have made us feel more welcome. The house and surrounding gardens are wonderful. We had a very comfortable room, with a large bed and were treated to a fantastic breakfast in the morning that would rival any five star hotel. Mavis was so kind...
