Booked a stay in the hotel for a family Funeral. During COVID restrictions it was allowed to fo so. The hotel could not do enough for us. They told us when food was available and if not what was the best thing to do in sourcing some. Their is nothing bad I could say about their service to us. The rooms were very clean, sanitised and presentable. Ide recommend staying there if the need arises. I am sure when normal times return, it would be a pleasurable experience.

I have stayed here a few times now during Covid lockdown due to essential work commitments in the local area. During this time the hotel is operating on room only basis (with breakfast) and minimal staff on duty so I would recommend you eat before you arrive or you could ring a takeaway to be delivered and the staff will oblige with cutlery etc. There is a supermarket 5 minutes away where you can pick up snacks & drinks if required. Clane Private Clinic is literally 5 minutes from the hotel where I recommend you stay the night before if you have an early appointment in the clinic as happened to me recently. The staff are friendly and are as accommodating as they can be during the pandemic, I'm sure it is as unusual for them as it is for the guests at the moment and I'm looking forward to a time when there are no restrictions and be able to enjoy a nice meal and a few drinks in the restaurant.

Dear Gina M, Thanks you for taking the time to post a review of your stays with us during these lockdown restrictions. We are delighted to read that, despite our limited service during this time, you were happy with the customer service you experienced from our staff. As the restrictions are now extended out to 5th April, we are pleased to confirm that from next week we will be providing evening meals for our essential residents from Mondays-Thursday so if you do find that you have to stay with us again for essential work commitments at least you will be able to get a bite to eat rather than having to order a takeaway. We too are looking forward to a time when restrictions are lifted and we will be able to welcome you back with full service here at the hotel so that you can enjoy a nice meal and a few drinks. Kind Regards,

The lady was lovely upon check in, made our way to our room where it was basic. No cover on the duvet with stains on it. Stayed to visit Santa that evening but the bar took last orders at 8 and did not offer room service so we had to get a take away, no spoons in the room even to make a cup of tea so it was virtually impossible to eat rice or noodles. We had to prebook the swimming pool. If you have young children, avoid it, the changing room are dirty and ice cold, pool was an OK temperature I can honestly say I won't be back again, the service is non existent

Dear 15manym, thank you for taking the time to post a review of your stay with us. We are sorry to hear that you found your visit to be only average. There is certainly no reason why the duvet in your room had no cover nor for the Leisure Club changing rooms to be dirty and we are most surprised to hear of this. If you could contact us on 045 989900 to discuss in more detail as if we know when you stayed and in what room, we can address these issues correctly. Our aim always is that our guests enjoy their stay and that hopefully they will return again in the future. We are really sorry this was not your experience. Kind Regards,

Had a 2 night stay here and we loved it. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning. Bedrooms were spacious but a little too warm. Swimming pool was nice and warm. The staff were all so kind and friendly, especially a lovely lady called Lindsay, who served us breakfast on both mornings. She was super kind and patient with our very chatty 6 year old son. We'll definitely be back.
