My wife and I don't go out very often, but we made a special trip to Mundo Milo for their first sushi night of the season and we were extremely happy we went. We have eaten here many times and the food, atmosphere and service are always perfect. Prices are reasonable and we will definitely be back!

My 10 year old daughter and I stayed at this lovely hotel for a second year running and it was so nice to be able to return and make this our base for a 16 night stay in wonderful Costa Rica. Owners Lieke and michiel were waiting to greet us with a cold drink after our long flights from England and helped us to our lovely Mexican cabin. In then you have air conditioning , a fan , nice bathroom with hot water and a coffee maker , fridge and comfy (all we need ! ) and it's nice to have a coffee or beer and sit out on your own patio in the rocking chairs and listen and watch the amazing wildlife thats all around you. Breakfast is excellent with fresh fruits home made yoghurt, good coffee and juice followed by eggs and pinto ( rice) bread and cheese or pancakes ( kids will love! )

We spend some lovely days at this well run, spotless clean and very comfortabel hotel in the middle of the jungle, very near the sea (at night you can hear the waves breaking on the beach, wonderful sound). Lieke, the Dutch owner, is very helpful and sociable. They serve wonderful food. Next to a la carte dining, they serve delicious daily specials for diner.

I honestly had no major plans. I had been given an address, and a date to be here. We had a workshop earlier on Friday and it was all I could do to wonder where we were headed. We arrived under a light rain and it was all wonderful from then on. Rooms have themes (or so it seemed to me). The lobby-restaurant pool are great for social environments. Plus the crew and people were simply put, charming. Food was a plus. As breakfast was included I figured we had a choice of fruit or coffee and toast, wonderfully surprised with the full breakfast! I can't recommend enough, if you're in the area.l, do drop by.

This resort is not only beautiful and lush but the owners will treat you like family. Lieke and Mikel are from Holland and went out of their way to check on us each day, make sure we were sleeping well and we're happy. All without being intrusive :) There are 3 types of rooms here (with a 4th style being added). The African room is where we spent the first few days....we arrived in the rainy season and the mosquitos are no joke. However, Lieke is very knowledgeable about bite prevention and itch relief. She also knows the area very well and can provide you with directions and culture information. Due to the season the mosquitoes were particularly relentless and we upgraded to a room with AC. Normally we are not AC people, but here in the rainy season the AC helps keep the bugs
