What a treat! Lieke and Michael did a great job taking care of our family on our week long vacation to Costa Rica. Rooms were comfortable and food was excellent! Every meal tasted better than the last. We enjoyed the pool, ping pong (Lieke did mentor us on the correct rules of the game!), darts, cards and the local wildlife. A short walk to uncrowded Playa Junquillal, Mundo Milo is in a great location. They did have WiFi but no TVs, which actually helped our family spend more time together! Loved the ecologically friend approach to hotel management! Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone heading to the west coast of Costa Rica!

We had an incredible two nights at this very special spot, it was the perfect experience to relax and explore the area. Lieke and Michael have created a little oasis, with their unique design of the rooms to the incredible food. We would highly recommend this hotel, and would stay again but would spend a lot longer. We enjoyed our evenings chatting with Lieke and Michael, and we’re very thankful for the special touch they did to make our stay very enjoyable. Thank you both for a great stay. Cara, Paul & Aisling

Lieke and her Husband Michael were wonderful to us and our three children. The rooms are clean, the grounds are wonderful and the restaurant and pool area have a great laid-back vibe. My oldest son was sad to leave and wants Lieke to come to visit for a "play date" :) Recommend!

I stayed here for 4 nights/3days as a solo traveller and it was great! It is located in a quiet part of Guanacaste and really close to the ocean. It was a quick walk to a quiet beach (not recommended to swim in though) or a 20 minute walk to a great swimming area. Lieke and Michiel were amazing hosts! Lieke was able to help me book some wonderful activities while there (check out the turtle project-you might get to release baby turtles!). There is a restaurant on site that is also delicious!

We are at Mondo Milo several times during our stay in Junquillal. Each meal was better than the last, and all were excellent. The outdoor dining “room”, indeed the whole place, was built by the owners and is a lovely setting for a wonderful dining experience. Lieke and Michiel and their staff are attentive and delightful. Last night we had the sea bass burrito special which was fantastic, full of flavor and perfectly done.
