Stayed for one night in room 2. The room was clean and cosy with nice monsoon shower. The proprieter was very friendly and accommodating. Must say all the staff were excellent being attentive to all our needs. Definite plus for this hotel is the view from the rear patio and conservatory which is stunning overlooking the hills surrounding Bassenthwaite lake....

As soon as we arrived at this superb location we realised that our stay was going to be a relaxing couple of days. The hotel is clean, comfortable and the staff are absolutely charming. We met the owner Mike who made us feel really welcome and then not to be disappointed, we dined in the superb bistro area where the...

Spent 2 nights here 01-03 January 2017. It is a fantastic establishment, the proprietor and staff are so friendly and helpful and we are so glad that we chose this as our base. We love the Lake District anyway as we enjoy walking, so when we come a cross a gem of a hotel like this it's a bonus. The...

We stayed here for one night just after New Years and it's a lovely hotel. Out of the way and it beautiful surroundings. They're pretty easy going about check in/out times and the drinks and breakfasts seemed pretty reasonably priced. There's cheaper hotels around but this was so close to Keswick and the countryside. There was a couple of cobwebs...

We spent 2 nights there for New Year and everything was fantastic. We had room 9 which had a big kingside bed and fabulous views across to lake and hills. The bathroom had a lovely walk in shower and a huge bath too. We dined there both nights and the food was probably the best we have ever had in...

Booked just the one night as we were meeting up with friends and were so impressed on arrival with check in and our room that we organised our rendezvous for the stables bistro and enjoyed a delicious meal with our friends. Our premium room had a lovely view of the fells on the other side of the lake and had...

My fantastic experience started before I had even set off, knowing we would be late checking in they phoned us while on route to see if we would like an evening meal ordering as the kitchen would be closing before we were due to get there! Upon arrival we were given a free upgrade to our room, another wonderful surprise,...

Just had a couple of nights in the Lake District to do some Christmas shopping. Enjoyed our stay at Ravenstone Lodge. The staff were all very good, and the food was excellent. Our room was spotlessly clean and warm. Recommended.

We stayed in this hotel for a 3 night break. It was a lovely surprise to find that it exceeded our expectations. The room was spotlessly clean, the staff were very friendly and efficient without being intrusive. We opted to eat in the hotel on the first night and the food was so good we dined there every night beautifully...

From the moment we arrived at this gem of a hotel, set in the most beautiful location, we were made to feel really welcome. The place was spotless throughout, warm and comfortable with amazing views all around. The staff were friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble, they even took our very wet boots and coats to dry...
