Amazing hotel, amazing setting, amazing hospitality from staff and the afternoon tea was spectacular-we are rather connoisseurs of afternoon tea and fussy, believe me, this is the jewel in the crown of afternoon teas!

Just got back home from a great 2 night stay at Ravenstone Manor. The owners made us very welcome. The room was great - comfy bed, clean room and bathroom, effective shower! The breakfasts were made to order and were excellent. We had dinner in the hotel on one night and the service and food were very good. When we...

Just back from a two night stay at Ravenstone, the room was clean and bright with a great view. The owners were welcoming and helpful with knowledge of the area. We ate breakfast and evening meals here which we thoroughly enjoyed.

After booking a three night stay we arrived to be greeted by the owner who showed us to our room with a very relaxed but proffesional manner . We had booked the four poster bedroom which had a fantastic outlook towards Bassenthwaite lake , the room itself was spacious , light and spotlesly clean with all the luxuries that you...

A wonderful place to stay and very highly recommended. Even for travellers without pets, this place has got to be one of the very best in the Lake District. We travelled as a couple, along with our two Springer Spaniels for a 2-night stay at Easter. First impressions were very good, just a short-drive from Keswick and the A66, within...

Room had a great view, very comfortable and clean. Sumptuous breakfast to start your day, very friendly staff. Plenty of fell and hill walking. Keswick and Cockermouth only a short drive away, or take a bus that stops outside the hotel.

Great place to stay, we really enjoyed it. Location is nice and peaceful with some great hikes from the front door. Breakfast was tasty, we stayed for dinner one night and the food was very good. Loved the games room with pool table and board games, a really nice touch

Booked to stay here only for one night as moving to the area. Lovely room, very helpful staff and very accommodating to our needs. The view is tremendous and the building is beautifully old and creaky.

This is a wonderful hotel. The rooms are spacious, the food excellent (I had the best Beef, Lamb and Ale Pie) and best of all they allow pets everywhere. The staff were very accommodating and almost every guest had a pet with them which was nice. Ravenstone Manor brings a new level to pet friendly hotels.

We dropped our 3 children off at a holiday cottage with their grandparents and decided to stay here overnight to break up our journey. I wasn't prepared for how stunning this hotel was. Breathtaking views, quality furnishings and exquisite food, we felt very spoilt.
