Simply amazing, so friendly in a perfect setting and decor. Exceptional services and food. Highly recommend. We had a weekend stay (2 nights), meals in all restaurants and used the spa facilities. All of the staff couldn't do enough for you. Never known such a top class hotel that even accepts dogs.

Amazing way to spend my 30th birthday Only downside was building work being done just outside the spa. It was still he best place I have been for a spa and hotel stay over. Everything was perfect Can't wait to return

Stayed recently for a wedding which was very well executed. The food was very nice and on the whole the staff were friendly to me although I heard mixed reviews re helpfulness. The hotel has a lovely setting. The spa was under refurbishment which was disappointing but sadly it's the room I stayed in that gave me the most disappointment....

We visit Armathwaite Hall for the first time since our Honeymoon there in 2012. It was my now husband's birthday and the whole experience was once again, magical. The staff had reserved us a table in the window, overlooking the lake and we sat for almost 2 hours eating the most sumptuous and delicious food. Every mouthful was a taste...

My husband & myself recently had a wonderful stay at Armathwaite Hall, during which we were made to feel spoiled and special. The accommodation was delightfully comfortable, spotlessly clean and luxurious and there was an outside patio area to our room, which we loved. The building and grounds were impressively beautiful and well-kept, the staff that we encountered were warm, friendly and helpful,...

It will be 20 years this year since we first ventured to the delightful Armathwaite Hall Hotel. There are staff who still remember us from back then which is reassuring. It has been 3 years since our last visit in which time there has been much improvement and upgrading of both public spaces and rooms. Our room 130, was situated...

From start to finish of our weekend break at this beautiful spot we were treated with courtesy and professionalism. Our room was everything we wanted, comfy bed, spotlessly clean and little extras like bottled water and fruit. The spa was divine. Restaurant was so welcoming, food delicious. The views were stunning. All in all this is the place to come...

Dear restaurantlover19, Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel and indeed provide us with your valuable feedback. I have to say that we are not in agreement with your comments on the hotel being "dated" as we are constantly refurbishing and updating our property and investing into the business as a whole.
