Sometimes when you enter a hotel, you feel just all right - simply good! The location is good, being in a walking distance into a city and in touch with main road for fast access on the other hand. Then when stepping into a room the feeling grows telling you here it´s gonna be nice to stay. Clean, spacious and...

Good sized and very clean room. Very good location in city center near to station. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff that can welcome you in English. Cafe Fleur serves local and international drinks and dishes. A lot of reStaurants and shops in neighbourhood.

I stayed at this hotel for business. The room was very spacious, well equipped (microwave over, mini fridge) and very centrally located (steps from the train station, the centre of town and a large grocery store). Of particular note, the staff were very kind and helpful. You can choose to include breakfast. I strongly recommend it. It is very affordable...

If you are in Geilenkirchen, you don't really have many options. This hotel is nice located in the city center, 1minute walk to train station. I guess it was the oldest hotel in town. There is a nice restaurant under it.

We stayed here for a week and had a great experience. The room was clean and spacious and within walking distance to restaurants, grocery store, bus and train stations. Being so close to all amenities it does get a bit noisy but nothing closing the windows won't fix. The front desk staff were friendly enough, same with any other city...

Room spacious but ridiculously hot. Hotel beside very busy noisy road so opening the window to cool the room results in a very noisy room instead. A lot of cigarette smoke come through the building into the room. Not pleasant. Reception lady was helpful and friendly. She's the only reason I rate this 2 instead of 1. Go somewhere else,...

The Staff was super helpful and polite. The room was cleaned like clockwork everyday at 9:00. I kept the windows cracked because it became very humid in the room with the heat on but it was very comfy. I'd recommend anyone who is just coming into the area to stay here. It's very close to the town square, shopping and...

The room we stayed in was cozy, but hot; we kept the window open all the time just to be comfortable. However, I've come to expect this of all German hotels. The building its self was kept nice and clean and the service staff was very friendly. One of the front desk attendants was a little cold, but the other...

I stayed here with my husband while we were looking for a house to rent before we moved to the area. The room was not posh by any means. We ended having two single beds and I remember wicker furniture if i'm not mistaken. A stand alone shower only. You don't have very many choices around GK but it was...

Whenever I am in Geilenkirchen I have stayed at the City Hotel due to its central location, its proximity to convenient train connections and its proximity to the Selfkant Kaserne. Rooms are reasonable, clean and quiet. The last time there I had to stay at the annex which is located half a block away which was also very comfortable. My...
