I couldn't check my bags in as no one was home. I went back at around 6pm and was shown a room in an annex. To park my car was difficult as I had to negotiate a gate and a very busy road. The room was small with sloping ceilings meaning I had to stoop. The bathroom was worse I...

Very warm welcome. Room was large and comfortable with tea coffe making facilities. (Lashings of hot water in the en suite bathroom.)It is a wonderfully old house so beware of small doorways, you are warned! Chairs set out in the garden for our use and no rush to leave in the morning. Thank you both.

Booked this last minute. Quick reply to my emails and let her know that i was dropping my bags off at 3ish. i turned up at 3 as i said I would. ..travelled for 3.5 hours and the owners didn't even answer the door. We stayed at Eaton Thorne on a cold November 2014 weekend, and have mostly very positive comments, so much so that we will very likely book again in March. The owner Nan was delightful, and being an avid horse woman myself, I had an instant rapport with her, and I was able to tour the stables before we left. We...

Stayed for one night in June 2014 - really very nice owners who made us feel very welcome. Beautiful house and lovely clean rooms, also use of very pretty garden. Despite being on the main road, very peaceful. Would definately come back again.

General opinion : accommodation ok, welcoming ok. Important information: no tv in the bedroom, hot water is VERY HOT. Pay attention that the entrance is ON THE ROAD so careful when you wanna go in or out. To resume: correct for a night stay...

We stayed here for one night When we arrived the owner was busy with the horses. So walked around till someone saw us and said that her mother should come in a minute. The owner was a nice lady and she showed us the room in a old renewed stable. Very nice room with a good bathroom. The breakfast was...

We arrived for a one night stay here and were initially told that we weren't booked in (even though we had several telephone conversations prior and had paid £30 deposit). Eventually the Owner found that we were around the back in the barn. The room was pleasant and clean. The rooms didn't have any locks on any doors which didn't...

My wife booked double en-suite and paid 300 security deposit. When we arrived we were told by the owner that her mother is not well next door so we should be quite and that her father will escort us to the room. It was a small room and not en-suite as stated. The bathroom is in the corridor next to...
